Day 5 Lots of Leaves
Last day of Lots of Leaves. Must say I have enjoyed this one. I had to really pay attention but still think I missed some scorchers! Next week is 'See a Rainbow' let's hope it's as much fun.

Lots of Leaves Day 4

Visited Black Chalk Vineyard today. The weather stayed dry and we tasted the grapes that had been left on the vine and after our tour tasted some wine. Very nice. This is where I found this beauty.

Lots of Leaves Day 3
I always think there should be something we can do with leaves when they've dropped from the tree. Their colours are bright their shapes well designed but they always turn brown over time and dry and crumple. If anyone's got a good idea let me know.

Lots of Leaves Day 2
I have had lots of fun looking through the leaves they are all unique some look similar until you look closely. Try it and see what you can find.

Lots of Leaves Day 1
Apologies if you were expecting 'A Quinary of Trees' (also apologies for poetic licence on use of Quinary) I have rescheduled them as they were not up to scratch. Hence we are on five days of 'Lots of Leaves' They are some stunning colours and some unusual patterns, so enjoy.

A Pentagon of Pebbles Day 5.
The last day of the pebbles for a while. I realise we look at things with curiosity if they are out of context. Have you seen anything out of context recently?Next week I'd like to introduce you to a quinary of trees. How could I resist with their spectacular colours?

Day 4 of A Pentagon of Pebbles.
This pebble may look boring but it feels as smooth as silk and very calming when you place it in the palm of your hand. It is cool but warms up very quickly. Definitely don't overlook this little one.

A Pentagon of Pebbles Day 3
I felt energised by these colours in the garden enjoying the hardness of the pebble opposing the softness of the acer. Contradiction and change all around and autumn is definitely on its way.

Day 2 A Pentagon of Pebbles
I dug this lovely stone up in our garden when I was about 12years old. It was just staring up at me from the soil when I was gardening. My Dad sent it to the British Museum who said it was between 800 -1000 years old and would have adorned an earthenware pot. It has no monetary value but has memories of 1000 years.

New week and we have a 'Pentagon of Pebbles' this week. Who knew how many people like pebbles! Now I don't feel strange. Me and my collection of carefully picked pebbles. It always surprises me where you can find a face or weird animal. Here I found I face - hope you can find it - let me know. See you tomorrow.

Day 5 of 'Five Shapes of Shadows' that week went quick didn't it just like the sunshine - I've been chasing shadows all morning. Next week we're onto pebbles. who knew pebbles and stones could be so interesting well maybe not to everyone but I've loved them since I was a child. I hope you look forward to a Pentagon of Pebbles. Enjoy your weekend.

Day 4 of Five Shapes of Shadows. These shadows live in our garden so you don't have to go far to find them. You just need to be mindful and pay attention to your surroundings. You never know what you will find that can make you smile.

05/10/2022

Day 3 of Five Shapes of Shadows. You might have to squint a bit to see this one but keep looking - or maybe you see something else. Let me know.

04/10/2022

Day 2 of Five Shapes of Shadows. I love seeing faces o creatures in clouds or shadows it makes me laugh even more so when people say 'I can't see that!' or even better 'no that's not an elephant that's a mosquito" or something like that. Long live imagination.

New week new posts! This week is 'Five Shapes of Shadows' Another one of my loves. Just as I love skies I love shadows. I didn't realise how many things I love that are to do with nature. You'll notice a few more over the coming weeks. Anybody else love shadows?

30/09/2022

Day 5 - Well that's the end of a Working Week of Skies. So what shall we have next week? What about A Working Week of Shadows? We may not get as much sunshine for a while so we'd better enjoy a few shadows starting 3rd October 2022. See you then.

Day 4 of A Working Week of Skies. Trouble on the horizon methinks - but luckily for us just some heavy rain. Thinking of those in the path of Hurricane Ian.

28/09/2022

Day 3 of a Working Week of skies
Getting colder in the mornings now autumn has definitely arrived but if you wait an hour or so the lazy sun will get out of bed and warm the skies.

27/09/2022

Day 2 of a Week of Skies - the sky was quite feisty today bubbling up clouds to fill the sky. I used to have a dog who used to find these type of days exciting and race all over the place. Miss him making me laugh.

26/09/2022

I love skies - blue, cloudy, stormy it represents freedom to me so I thought we'd start back with a week of skies and here's todays.
