What's on your breakfast plate?

Be it meaty, gluten free, vegetarian or vegan, we strive to serve up a tasty breakfast plate filled with quality ingredients.

Quality meaning we avoid the mass produced frozen pork sausage in favour of proper hand made butchers old english sausage. As for bacon, it has to be thick cut, dry cured and naturally smoked to make it on our plate. Baked beans? There's only one quality option and that has to be Heinz! The list goes on...hungry yet???

Along with warmer weather and visitors enjoying time on the beach, the seafront was properly alive like summer today...☀🕶🍦🍭⛱🎠🎢

After a busy day in the kitchen, we even managed to get some of our own Easter holiday-time action with an evening out watching a spectacular performance of Pirates! Live at the Hippodrome Circus. We had so much fun, especially being big kids by shouting "Arrrgggghhh" at the top of our voices!!!

If you haven't been this year, its a fabulous show and fun for all ages...so get down there and book your seats before this show finishes on Sunday 14th April.

After all the windy and wet weather yesterday, we arrived at the Tearooms this morning to find a 14ft high bright pink inflatable Easter Egg had been blown onto South Beach, .

For everyones safety, we have secured the mammoth inflatable from blowing any further afield with the loose tethers that were still attached.

A crowd of onlookers have already gathered to gaze at it. One dog walker said "Co ter heck, thass a rum un". Another passer by we spoke to said "Cor blarst me, oi watta be gittin on hum suhn!". It's definitely a weird one, even the seagulls seem confused and threatened by it!

Wherever it came from, we'll be keeping a close eye on things whilst cooking up breakfasts for our customers...please stop by and warm up when you're nearby, we're open from 9:30am today.

Its been a LONG winter, but finally the wait is over as Sara's Tearooms is open daily 9:30am - 5:00pm from Good Friday 29th March through to Sunday 14th April.

You might have to wait a little longer for the ☀ to go along with your fun days out by the seaside, so wrap up warm before heading down for great quality homemade eats and treats by the sea.

We're still as dog friendly as ever, so don't forget to bring the 🐕🐩🐕‍🦺 along as well...we look forward to welcoming you once again.

***Fireworks on Wednesday 25th fired from Central Beach at 9pm. Although fireworks can be seen from most of the seafront, the best views will be from directly in front of the fire site near the Jetty Car Park area.***

An update on the opening times at the Pleasure Beach today.

As a result, the gardens site will close at the same time, so we will also be closing at 5pm today, with last food orders being taken at the earlier time of 4:15pm.
