Henry Story presented the IETF's upcoming "Signing HTTP Messages" protocol to the W3C Solid Community Group on Wednesday 7 June. He illustrated it by running a crawler on Big Data published as Linked Data Event Streams ( ) protected with SolidProject access control rules.
This is about as efficient as possible, though Tim Berners-Lee did think of an extra optimisation, which mentioned in the video recording below.

The last milestone for the EU NGI Solid-Control project was submitted this week. This resulted in a based Solid Server, an implementation of the IETF "Signing HTTP Messages" that compiles to JS and JVM bytecode, as well as updating banana-rdf to Scala3. (Banana-rdf allows you to write RDF code that can switch between Java or JS RDF libraries by changing one line of code).
