Thanks to everyone who came to Rainbow Rising + Deepest Purple at Tavistock Wharf, it was an awesome turn out and we look forward to being back in 2024. We're taking a few well-earned weeks off now and will be back on 27th January 2024 at Chorley Theatre with Twin Lizzy and Rainbow Rising. What a fantastic evening at Eleven last night. Superb venue and awesome crowd that came to watch Deepest Purple and Rainbow Rising. Thank you to everyone that came and made it such a brilliant evening for us all. We can't thank you guys enough! Our next show is at Rainbow Rising + Deepest Purple at Tavistock Wharf on 16th December. What an unbelievable day and gig that was!!! No idea how we managed to get through that and perform at The Old Goats Grumble festival! Our van broke down three times on the way there and we ended up stranded 30 miles from the festival and with no chance of breakdown recovery getting us there in time for our stage time. Fearing the worst and that we'd have to cancel our show, I reluctantly had to let Russ, organiser know our predicament.

Undeterred, the amazing people at the festival, notably, Russ, Martin and Andy organised a van and a car to do a 60 mile round trip to pick up the band and the gear and get us to the festival with 40 minutes to spare before our stage time. The crowd and the festival were amazing. What a fantastic crowd and crew...

And it didn't stop there. Martin and Andy repeated their 60 mile round trip to get us and gear back to our stranded van. Fortunately the AA turned up, confirmed our self-diagnosis of knackered alternator on the van, charged the battery and we followed him all the way home with everything electrical (other than side lights!) switched off.

Quite a remarkable feat by everyone involved, including the band members themselves, for getting the van going three times on the way there, and still managing to pull off a great show despite the adversity!

Join a band they said, it'll be fun they said!

Bad news I'm afraid. Tonight's gig at The Brickyard will have to be postponed. Our keyboard player is stranded in London with a broken down vehicle that cannot be repaired in time. We cannot get a replacement vehicle (thanks to the Bank Holiday) and with the rest of the band living in Manchester, we cannot possibly get there and back in time to pick him up and get to the gig!

A nightmare scenario completely beyond our control.

We can only apologise to everyone who's purchased tickets or made plans to come tonight. We're very sorry and hope we can rearrange very soon.

Please contact the venue for refunds or whether to hold on to tickets for the rearranged date.
