'Hello, I'm Mano, just over 2 months old rescued kitten & have decided to join the team, as I have been told that I'm good at massages!
You may not see me on your visits but I'm frequently passing through the clinic. So if you are unfortunately allergic to us furry creatures, do tell my slave, so the room is thoroughly hoovers and wiped before your appointment😼 .'
Not like me to post such videos but this one seemed brief & precise.
Same goes for our brain, memory, muscles, core etc.
Let's try not take calculator out for the smallest of calculations; let's not buy gadgets for mundane tasks in our daily life, which provide vital exercises.
One of the three ways we access the trigger points at the ever so notorious Psoas muscle, depending on the body type.
In the comments section I'm pasting same for the Glute Med; both by one of the finest instructors (Dr Kuttner) I ever came across in student days.
How To Treat Iliopsoas (Psoas) - Trigger Point Release Trigger Point Master Class: Contrary to some common misconceptions, trigger points in the psoas muscles can sometimes be treated safely and effectively relea...
Just a post after 50 days since fb keeps on questioning about mine & the clinic's existence🧐
No need for marketing but maybe I shall post some info on monthly basis.
Hope you all are being good to yourselves & I shall leave you with a 12 year old video of a fairly cool friend/instructor/Osteopath Dr Parker from across the pond, who trained with us on Oncology Massage, MLD (Lymphatic Drainage), trauma & scar tissue (belly) work & the subsequent lymph nodes cancer treatments.
Good night/morning 🌝
Lymphatic Treatment Brandon Parker discusses a few indications and contraindications to lymphatic treatment, goes over some lymphatic anatomy and then shows a few techniques to ...
We all get tense days time to time so I thought retail therapy is in order. I went online & clicked for a random shaped stress ball & this dude showed up!
After squeezing him into various faces for a few days I got an urge to go back to my course book & read those 17 pages of the trigger points that may form on the vital fascial tissues and the network of lymph nerves that flows underneath the most visible part of our body, our identity.
Smile, frown, sing or just self-massage is in order 🤗
I know, it's the 10th of January (& I'm as ever late on posts), but there are still 355 days left so let me wish all of you a
Just received fresh supply of the most premium massage medium that I have worked with in the last 15 years (by Songbird Massage Wax) 🙂

This is a question I get asked several times a month. A very generic video but apply to a large demographics among us.
Many of us have talked about rectification practices & use of the right muscle group to break the cycle of bad habits; good luck.
Someone wanted to know more about the trigger points we found/treated on their LS today & how they link to various pains at head, neck & shoulders.
I found this demonstration by Dr Kuttner to share with them but worth a watch for all.

Mr Zuckerberg wants me to post some update every week, to communicate that the practice still exists!
So here is for once & for all; we are working & working hard(ish).
Working through cricket, Wimbledon, injuries, holidays, rain & Sunshine spells. You are all welcome 🐱 (meow)
P.S. If you are allergic to furry creatures, please mention it while booking your appointment, so the treatment room is properly hoovered just before, many thanks.
Whoever left these baskets outside the door with that lovely, lovely note (that I am still reading after days), please come forward and allow me to pass my gratitude.
This practice would not have survived for the last 15 years if it was not centred around the lovely bodies who have made it their happy place.
These beauties are now mounted on the shiny new brackets, to continue to remind me of the relationship I have with so many of you.
Love and all that jazz....(insert appropriate emojis; I am no good at those) ~ Ibad
Songbird goodies have arrived & they have introduced 'Connect' & a few newer vegan, nut free waxes, balms and lotions.
No, they are not for sale, I need them here! 🙃
I know, totally irrlevant; & it sounds like I'm complaining, but this is a real first world problem!
There are some demanding customers who recognise the hands of a therapist and I know I'm just not allowed to stop! 😾
Interesting piece of research.
Are people really either 'larks' or 'owls'? - BBC Ideas Most of us have a sense of whether we are a lark or an owl – we either love getting up early, or we don't. But is there real science behind it?
I haven't posted anything again for too long and fb is bothering me with notifications!
So here is a video from from a decade old study at a university in Atlanta that I had to go through for course work in my student days.
Be well, take a few deeper breaths now, push those shoulders down, away from neck & drink a glass of water once you leave that seat :)
