Before 👉🏼 Old pigment had faded enough for me to work with, Slight colour left more around the edges of the lip tissue with some noticeable shape however less defined.

After 👉🏼 We opted for a Brighter tone to give that Depth and saturation to cover that old lip pigment, but keeping to the pink tone my client wanted, while bringing back that shape and definition!

We used Pink rose by Using the PIXEL 1RL 0.3 cartridges 👌🏼

Lip neutralisation 🤎❤️
What is Lip neutralisation ? 👇🏼
Lip neutralisation is where the lip has a natural darker lip hue (usually clients who are Fitzpatrick 5/6 ) and to be able to achieve the desired tone we must first neutralise the darker hues that already lie in the lip tissue. We do this by using WARM pigments such as Red, orange or pink depending on how dark the natural lip tissue is. This will cancel out the darker tones adding warmth and creating one colour to the lips. Lip neutralising can take multiple sessions before the desired result is achieved and every client is different 👌🏼
For this session I used a bright red focusing more on the outer lip area as this is where majority of the dark hue is. ✌🏼

So do you understand undertones? 👇🏼
We already hold colour in our lips, this is our undertone, in this case my client had more than one undertone, pink and some darker melanin areas. The undertone is also assessed on the clients skin. Either cool, neutral or warm.
We opted for a pinky tone & adding some warmth to complement both undertones in the lips. This gives us one overall colour for a sheer lip result. These lips are HEALED from one session 🤌🏼
When assessing your client for lip blush you need to know what colour they already hold and what is the complementary colour to give the best healed results ✌🏼
For example if you had someone with darker melanin rich lips, you’ll need to stick to warmer colours as a pose to cooler colours. 🧡❤️

By promoting WET HEALING 💦⬇️

✅ Wash the area every 2 hours on the day following the procedure

✅ Keep the lips hydrated at all times! Using Hustle butter from

✅ Wash them daily for 5 days and keep them hydrated.

The after care I provide for my clients is VITAL! The more flaking you have, the more pigment it will pull out meaning the healed results won’t be as good 🤷🏻‍♀️
Now I’m not saying my clients don’t flake at all but there is minimal flaking. So 99% of my clients who follow the aftercare I give them have the BEST healed results with maximum retention 🤌🏼
