Thank you to everyone who has donated to our Elland food bank appeal, the photo really doesn’t do it justice. When we unloaded all the bags and boxes there was a large assortment of items. Elland food bank were extremely grateful and couldn’t thank us all enough. Once again thank you so much to all our family, friends and customers your generosity is phenomenal.
We’ve been asked by so many people what they should donate to our Christmas food bank appeal, so we’ve taken a few photos of what people have already donated, to give people some ideas. Donations don’t have to be huge, 1 tin is one meal. Because of how things are at the moment we appreciate not everybody likes going shopping so some have opted to give a cash donation, we will spend your money wisely on the products that are most needed. Once again the generosity of our customers, friends and family has been phenomenal, thank you so much everybody.
We are going to deliver all the donations to the food bank on Monday 20th December to give them time to distribute the goods in time for Christmas.
Thank you
From us all at Sutcliffe’s transport.

So nice to see Royal British Legion volunteers back out selling poppies and RBL merchandise.
This gentleman is Tony (Jack) Whitaker, father of our friend and Sutcliffes Transport Ltd driver Andrew or Ticker. Seen here at his post in Morrisons Elland, with obligatory facemask removed only for this picture.
Thank you Mr Whitaker sir! You and your fellow volunteers are the front line of the Legion and we have missed seeing you in person this last year. ❤️
Go and buy a genuine poppy today, from a hero like Mr Whitaker, and wear it with pride.
Lest we forget 🌺🌺🌺
