We spent the session working on our weaker foot, scanning & planning, and agility work.
The goalkeepers in the group were doing specialist training with our goalkeeper coach.

A quality session tonight from the girls at Soccer Elite PDC, lots of hard work on was a very cold night. The girls that took part in the goalkeeper coaching tonight absolutely loved it.
There will be more goalkeeper sessions in the New Year for those that were unable to attend tonight.

A cold session tonight. The girls kept working hard throughout, focusing on first touch with different areas of the foot, and finished off with shooting.
Always a joy to coach them.

It was great to see such a fantastic turnout last night at Soccer Elite Girls PDC on the Astro at Marley ACC .
We spent the session really drilling down on the basics, each girl could see where they excelled and where improvements can be made, in the coming weeks we will focus on these areas.

As always great effort from all the girls, we look forward to seeing you all next week .

Delighted our Girls’ Performance Development Centre (PDC) has been selected as an FA England Talent ID centre……”The PDC offer at Marley Leisure centre, delivered by Mark Brier of Soccer Elite, with his coaching staff, provides opportunities for girls in the Craven region to further develop their football skills as a 'top-up' to what they receive at their grassroots club or school environment. Girls attending, who show signs of Talent & Potential, have the opportunity to be referred to the FA's Discover My Talent programme which aims to identify talented players to be referred to the England Talent Pathway. Having this form of provision and opportunities for girls in the Craven region is an important cog in the mission to discovering the next generation of Lionesses.” Steve Conboy, West Riding County FA.

Some news for all of our Girl Players and parents. We’ve increased the duration of our Girls’ Performance Development Centre (PDC) sessions from 1 hour back to 2 hours, starting immediately, every Monday evening at Marley ACC in Keighley. The sessions now run from 6-8pm. £8 for a 2 hour session. Not bad eh?
