What is fat dissolving?
Fat dissolving injections are incredible compounds that work to break down the membranes of the fat cells beneath the skin that are typically resistant to exercise. Once the membranes are distrubed, the fat cells become unstable, begin to break down and are flushed out through the body via the lymphatic system. This treatment can be permanent as part of a healthy lifestyle.
Where can be treated?
These injections can be used to treat small, exercise resistant, pockets of fat around the chin, chest, abdomen, thighs and knees. It is very effective for body contouring, but is not a treatment for weight loss.
How many sessions do you need?
Normally three session two weeks apart are expected for best results, however depending on the area additional sessions may be required.
How long does it take to see the results?
The solution will dissolve the fat cells, which then undergo degradation and absorption by the body over a length of 4 - 6 weeks. Your body has to naturally drain away the dissolved fat deposits as part of its normal process.
Aftercare
There may be slight redness, swelling, bruising, tenderness or
itching in the in the treated area. This is a normal result of the product/injection โ
the inconvenience is temporary and generally disappears in a day or two. Small
lumps may also occur and will go over a few days.
Drinking 2 litres of water a day for the week following the procedure is recommended to help flush the broken down fat cells from your body.
