Just a reminder that bag pick up is between 6pm to 8pm at 10th Feltham (Thursday 17th August). If you happen to find anything in your child’s bag that doesn’t belong to them feel free to bring it with you and hopefully we can reunite it with its owner!

We are due at Bishop Wand School at 6:50pm. Please can anyone picking up please avoid parking in front of the school gates or at the corner of Peregrine Road.

As we start packing up a couple of pictures from last nights closing ceremony. A wonderful way to end the week and an even more special moment for Feltham Scouts as one of our Leaders Ben was given the opportunity to lower the offical flag of the camp.

Sports was the order of the day for our last full day on camp. The group were split into small groups completing a wide range of inflatables, team games and challenges!

We are now all enjoying the closing ceremony to wrap up the best 10 days! More pictures to come!!

Today we had the chance to take part in Jambo Day! A series of trails and scavenger hunts around the site to help us learn more about the history of the Jamborette and also take part in some fun challenges. 🔎

After dinner we headed to the hangout with the rest of our friends from Sub Camp yellow to take part in a campfire where different groups got the chance to show us campfire traditions from their country! A great evening and lots of singing and dancing! 🔥🕺

🇳🇱 It’s an international hello this morning from the Netherlands!

⛺️ As well as many of our volunteers remaining on site to support the ongoing running of the site, another group of our amazing crew are currently out at the Haarlem Jamborette supporting local and county groups attending the event!

Busy day on site today! We started the day attending a reflection ceremony with the whole campsite where we looked back on the memories we have made on the camp so far! We then spent the afternoon exploring the campsite as part of the open day getting the chance to explore each groups campsites and learn a little about their culture and Scouting in their country.

Last night was something truly special for Feltham Scouts. We were first invited to take part in a massive Sub Camp group dinner, different people from our Camp all came together to sit and eat dinner and have the chance to get to know each other! We even created our own mobile food serving trolley!

The evening then finished with the main disco where each Sub Camp got the chance to join together and dance the night away.

Last night will definitely be a night to remember

Craft and Technology were the themes of today. With the young people getting the chance to take part in a range of activities across the day from creating their own ink stamps to GPS orienteering!

Today was our day off! So after a nice relaxed start to the morning we took the train into Amsterdam to visit the Zoo 🦧🐍🦒

Today we were also lucky enough to have a visit from 4 explorers from Cheshire County who are completing their Explorer Belt. It was great to have them on site to experience a little of the Haarlem Jamborette! Good luck on the rest of your travels! Cheshire Scouts

Today was Trail day on site! The group were again split into different groups to take on a variety of activities whether that was a Zip Wire over the water, building pirate ships and castles out of pioneering poles or completing obstacle courses! Another great day and finally the weather looks to be on our side ☀️

The final team took on the biggest challenge yet, The Punisher Hike. Covering over 35km over the course of the day. This mammoth challenge saw them covering a variety of landscapes whilst completing different challenges. A massive well done to all 6 young people and 4 leaders who took part!

Today was hike day. The team were split into three all taking on hikes of different lengths… the first two teams took on 10km hikes. The first team we’re on the Lost Treasure Hike and the second group took part in a City Hike Challenge. Everyone did really well in completing their challenges!

Today was Aqua day! The scouts were split into teams to take part in different activities including a River Cruise, Stand Up Paddleboarding and Raft Building! Our leader Ben who is joining us at the end of the week even wanted to join in the fun (see the last photo 😂)

First full day of camp saw Feltham Scouts heading to Walibi Theme Park. A few photos to show you all of the fun we had! Heading back to camp now for dinner and the opening ceremony!!

With the wettest start we have had to a Jamborette for a long time everyone is still having a wonderful time. Today we have had our first camp breakfast, turned out tents into our homes for the week and explored the site as well as having lunch and taking part in our first sub-camp activity. Tonight we head to the Mokkie for the first party night!

And we’ve made it!! Time for our welcome to camp and finding out which tent is ours!

We have made it to the Eurostar. Everyone has boarded and we are on the way to Amsterdam!

At the end of the first day of setup the advanced team have done an impressive job getting everything ready for our arrival tomorrow! 👏🏻

And so it begins! The advanced team and the kit have made it to the Ferry and are waiting to board!
