We have a wide range of perennials in our new area of the shop ranging from Asters to Scabious.

This is our last weekend open for the season and we will be back to our normal hours of Monday to Friday 9.30-3.30 next week.

We still have some summer bedding plants left if you have left it till the last minute or need some to fill in gaps.

We have them for sale in the shop in single pots or trays of 4.

Our potting shed is all set up for our summer hanging basket workshops.

Join us on 5th, 6th or 8th May where our experts will be on hand to guide you through the process of creating your beautiful hanging basket or container with a choice of our home grown seasonal bedding plants.

We will then keep your baskets in one of our green houses where they will be lovingly grown on until there is no risk of frost to give them the best start for the summer and make your outside space look fabulous!

Workshops include a presentation and a tour of our greenhouses with refreshments and equipment provided.

Workshop dates 5th, 6th and 8th May, other dates are available for group bookings.

We are excited to let you know our summer bedding plants are available!

Whilst we know it’s too early for them to go outside these early crops are for those of you that want to grow them on in greenhouse, conservatory or windowsill.

*These plants should not go out into the garden until there is no risk of frost

Ranunculus

Superb flower for adding a splash of colour to pots and borders. They will flower for around 6 weeks and grow up to 30cm in height

After flowering, once the growth has died back you can dig up the corn and store in a cool dark place ready to re plant next year.

Our trays of Pansies are a great way of brightening your spring garden and ideal for containers, borders and as ground cover. They are also very hardy and can survive the cold and frost.

We have a variety of differant colours available, all at £3.50 per tray of 6.

Give your business the extra wow factor this summer with a North Yorkshire Council Business Is Blooming subsidised hanging basket.

Our hanging baskets are renowned for their beauty and providing colour in the main shopping areas of Harrogate, Boroughbridge, Knaresborough, Pateley Bridge and Ripon.

The cost of the hanging baskets are subsidised by North Yorkshire Council and include growing, planting and the putting up and taking down of the baskets as well as the watering and maintenance from end of May to late September.

Due to access and parking restrictions it is only possible to erect hanging baskets in specific town centre locations so please check your location on the individual town maps on our website, visit
