Looks like this week will mostly be......... Plastering, plastering and a little more plastering. A kitchen next week and then back to the bags of plaster again....

Plaster boarding some old offices today. The sparks 1st fix is in and we can start plastering next week. The old toilets and kitchen to do in the morning..... Busy boys.

Customer wanted the old shed down, the old Barbie area knocked out, the wall repaired.. new fence/trellis and gate and old low level wall capped off. Little sun burn on the top of the head and a happy customer.

Old shed down... Old barbecue area knocked out... Wall repairs .. trellis cut to fit, 4 new panels/post and a new gate...

Just thinking a day or so ago... "Not a scratch in ages" ouch

Painting of a hallway over the weekend... And start of the week shifting of some radiator pipes so the customer could finish off having the supporting wall down. Replacement of a damaged bath tomorrow and the inevitable.. "while you're here" list... From the fence to the gutter and everything in between.... Harrogate Property Services

Another ceiling repaired. This time a customer in Pateley Bridge for a customer instructed to replace the lath and plaster before they could get a mortgage.

Another water damaged ceiling. The flashing had failed causing ingress of water over time. Frosty day or so repairing the roof and now to replace and plaster the ceiling...

Old floor tiles out.. floor made sound and level. New tiles down and grouted. Doors altered and hung.

Tiling again 😜. Customer got the tiles so always a moment when you think... " Nah, not gonna have enough here". Came in at just about right. Nice tiles but being hand made on walls not straight.... We had fun. Sausage and chips in the van for lunch.

Mark... How do you feel about taking this pond out of the equation? Here... Hold my brew. We dug it out, removed all the plants.... Saved the frogs, handballed 4 tonnes of materials in because the house is at the top of a tight lane and the company said... "No way". The back of my van looks like a quarry, I'm frozen and wet through... But my customer is happy.

I don't suppose Mark ... You could sort out a hot tap so I can wash the dogs muddy feet? No problem .. simple. Already a cold outdoor tap in place so we taped into the hot under the sink... A couple of isolators, a new outdoor tap into position and boom.... Happy puppies.

This was a bit of an epic job... the lovely couple had a massive flood which destroyed the kitchen ceiling. They had secured what they could with a few brackets and screws. It had to come down, be re boarded, plastered, painted and lights refitted. The Two Marks to the rescue...

Oops... customer left the tap running and went shopping. Took us a couple of weeks to get to it but it's dry now.. cutting out the damage today, sorting the lights and replacing the damaged boards. Plastering it tomorrow.

Quick one today but interesting none the less .. seems a very young toddler decided to start punching holes in his mum and dad's new house.... hole cut out, 2*1 screwed in and new section of board prior to filling and sanding... This little guy could keep us busy..

Today.... bathroom grout looking a bit worse for wear... raked out and replaced with a colour matched Mapei ultra Colour. Happy peeps all round... polish it once I finish this brew.

Another damaged ceiling caused by a bathroom in the flat above. Cutting out of the old plaster, replacement, filling/plastering prior to stain seal and painting the room. Had to sort the leaking overflow first mind... happy Tennant's again.

Never been a huge fan of heights... added fun when you add power tools and a bit of a side wind. The customer needs it doing though so.... onward. Barge and soffits back to wood.. repair, fill.. base coated and painted where required. In time for the winter weather.
