Interesting piece about English wine here. We’re big fans of the stuff and have been following this story for a few years. Our in-house wine fan and former sommelier Theo had this to say, “I’ve been fascinated by the rise of English wine since my restaurant days. It could be a tough sell then, but now it’s expected, even demanded, which is fantastic to see. The next five years are going to be very interesting for the industry and, of course, it’s packed full of stories. We love the nod to our home in Yorkshire in the piece too. When I came up North to University in Leeds years back, I wouldn’t have expected to be drinking stunning wine from the county when I moved back here.”

If you can remember the Second Summer of Love in 1989, you weren’t really there – or you were too young to ‘properly’ enjoy it, like our Director and self-confessed acid house spotter Theo. So he was fascinated by this new deep-dive LRB podcast, which considers how the 1988-1994 rave era started with free parties, big smiles and together-as-oneness and became, perhaps, the last collective countercultural scene in Britain.

🍻 We worked closely with the two breweries to build out a campaign that would target both consumers and trade buyers with powerful , operating across film, content, activations, merchandise and social.
👀 Not only did we get dozens of high-quality press pieces and social coverage, but we also secured three national supermarket listings, dozens of independents and a 67% share of search increase for our mates at Thornbridge.

Czech Mates was a highly successful collaboration between and , to spread the message of real lager across craft and real ale scenes with a tongue-in-cheek marketing campaign and most importantly, a great tasting beer at the end.
We worked closely with the two breweries, to build out a campaign that would target both consumers and trade buyers alike with powerful storytelling, operating across many channels including film, content and social. Not only did we secure dozens of high-quality press and social coverage, but we also secured three national supermarket listings, dozens of independents and a 67% share of search increase for Thornbridge.

We’ve had the real joy of working Budvar for close to a decade now, helping them share their incredible stories. During that time we’ve travelled the length and breadth of the Czech Republic, visiting amazing pubs and breweries, immersing ourselves in the brewing culture of this beer-obsessed nation.
Through our work we met .johy, head of craft partnerships at Budvar. She’s an inspiration, whose job is to travel round the country, visiting small breweries and sharing Budvar’s knowledge and expertise. Budvar wanted to make a film to highlight the women who work in the Czech beer industry while celebrating the country’s amazing lager culture.
Through our storytelling workshops we came up with – Great Beer for Everyone – a concept that works on recognition and inclusivity within the brewing industry and that it really is for everyone.
How much do we love our clients? Let’s put it this way: when the local pub didn’t serve Budvar, we petitioned, showed them a film and got it stocked.
Now it’s their bestseller. Total advocates.
And we even insist on the Czech pour. How’s this ?
