You may have heard from the news that Apple have released an OS update for iPhones, iPads, and Macs to help combat an ongoing security flaw.

We recommend checking if you have an update available and carrying it out if so. If you need any help with these updates, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Apple has recently announced that they have made eight Macs "Vintage" ranging from 2015 to 2016. We still carry out repairs on these Macs and with the right care and expert knowledge they are still fully capable Macs!

One of our favourite features here at Howard Conrad is Spotlight search. It’s not just used to find files and launch apps, it can be used to perform quick calculations. For example, try pressing command-spacebar, then ''860gbp’’ it will do the calculation for you. 💡💡💡

Remember, Apple Macs can be affected by viruses, ransomware, and DDos attacks. A start to help stop this is to turn on the ‘Firewall’ in the system preferences.

A firewall can help block bad connections trying to get into your Mac.
