Today we shine a light on a few of the women designers that we love. Please do support women and other-represented designers where you can.

- Hella Jongerius designed one of our favourite Vitra Sofas, the Older. In her native Holland “polder” refers to the artificial land reclaimed from the sea using d***s and drainage canals. This is a low-lying sofa that has as much emphasis on the horizontal.

- Reiko Kaneko, based in London, designed the Orlando Chair for SCP. It’s a low-lying armchair, with a small footprint but generous proportions.
