When was your house last tested for Electrical safety?

You should have your house tested at least every 10 years. The electricity in a normal domestic property is 230volts AC. The cables are carrying this voltage which is vibrating at a frequency of 50 cycles a second (50Hz). Hence over time this loosens the screws securing the cables. When the termination creates a gap between the screw and the cable, the current will jump the gap like a spark plug and this is when it heats up and can set on fire.

We are a small company primarily undertaking domestic work but also commercial and light industrial work - Our office is based in Harrogate.
We provide outstanding customer service and have built-up a fantastic reputation around this. Excellent customer service skills, professionalism and attention to detail are essential.
The ideal candidate will be competent and confident working in domestic, commercial and light industrial settings carrying out installation, maintenance and inspection/testing work.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years experience

Solid experience of inspection and testing (including EICRs)

Strong experience of domestic work, some experience of commercial/light industrial work

Extensive knowledge of the wiring regulations

Exceptional customer service skills

The ability to work alone/self-motivate and work as part of a team
