9X2 were exploring how science could be used in the film industry by looking at special effects make up and prosthetics for fake wounds/injuries and how science uses formulations to make them seem realistic.

Empathy Day in D**e House was celebrated with students checking out books from the OLC which show Empathy including books from our Reading Routes. The students worked in pairs to answer questions, to spark rich, empathy-filled conversations. Students agreed that we can show empathy every day!

Cayden L has been working incredibly hard at home to hone in the art skills he has been learning in lesson. He has been working with mum to create a model shark head, using a variety of different techniques and materials to get the best results!
