'Someone is calling, I have to go' - a beautiful poem from a relative. πΌ
I would like to start with one of the most beautiful poems I have ever read π
"I am sorry I have to slip away,
I really would have liked to stay.
Someone is calling, I have to go.
I really must, I can't say no.
I was happy here at Waters View,
I adored every single one of you.
When my family could not care for me,
You took their place, were there for me.
Thank you for washing me and dressing me,
for feeding and caressing me.
Someone is calling, I have to go.
I really must, I can't say no...
You were all so patient, all so kind,
Dealing with my broken mind.
Thank you for your smiles and jokes,
They helped me, and Julie, and Kate, to cope.
Thank you for the words you said,
Your cool hands on my hot head.
I am sorry I have to slip away,
I really would have liked to stay.
Just one more, than I am gone,
And you must smile and carry on.
Thank you for the love and care,
It was good to know that you were there."
Our wonderful relatives have always been so kind with thank you cards, presents and compliments. And I will be posting a few of them over the next few weeks.
We definitely have a few sweet teeth hereβ¦ π§
Some of our recent homemade goods, π all thanks to our fab catering team who like to get creative with their work!
All our food is prepared and cooked fresh in our kitchen on site and we offer a wide variety of choices each day.
πΆ Pup Therapy πΆ
Our little mascot, Scooby, is always a welcomed visitor at Waters View! He spends his days getting belly rubs and treats that our Residents sneak him. π₯°πΆπ€
(Can you tell our Team are just as excited when he comes to visit?π)
Did anyone say Bingo? π
Our Resident's favourite activity. We have some heated 'eyes down' competitions here! π
We will soon be inviting family and friends to join our Bingo sessions again!
π»π H A L L O W E E N ππ»
Celebrating Halloween over the years! People past and present. Remembering good times with amazing people π§‘π€
We are having a social media catch up so watch this space! We will be posting some of the wonderful activities and events we have had, here at Waters View, with our lovely Residents and amazing Team! π€
Starting off with a visit from the rescue birds of prey from 'Wings of Freedom.' Colin was so informative and the Residents were amazed by the Birds and were able to get incredible close! π¦
Great experience for all!
Hello all, we are trying to get the name and reputation of our little family run home out into the public eye! Could we please ask anyone that knows us to leave a little review for us on Google please? :) We hope you are all doing as well as you can in these troubling times. Ellie
