Cutting past 4 drawn out days filling/sanding and other such Prep, one week of trying to avoid snow blindness painting walls the same hue of white…

have colour!

What the difference, 3 days, a grinder, all the WD40 in the world and a tin of Hamerite makes!

These 2 have been rusted and painted open for as long as I can remember!

And now they look and word like a dream 👌

In a dark dark room, on a moody gloomy day, a new piano tuner tries tuneing his first ever harpsichord…

3 passes later, and a few giggles followed by humphs a short window appears of a an instrument Bach wouldn’t be seems dead playing 🤣

Joking aside did alright 👍

Slowly getting back to some normality with my first visit back .uk in London, getting this quite stunning perspex model A with its very impressive rose gold frame 😎

Day 2 and theses 2 are now coexisting and sounding far bette! And the mellower now sounds amazing and didn’t have to dope or touch the hammers once!

Easter coming early for their termly tuning

When you come back to a truly missed customer after 5 months away 🥰

Half Term over with a new happy memory of showing my daughter Daddies pianos

A few months, 10 rounds of chemo and a stem cell transplant later and honestly I missed it all 😅

And with that my sabbatical from the Yehudi Menuhin begins 😮‍💨

End of the second week preparing my academic establishments for a new year with one of my favourite school theatres 👌

Pleasantly Unexpected tuning request this evening after a lovely day back with my girls

If your about at the PTG convention in D.C come and find us for a chat in booth 320 and

Products tested ✔️ all these poor tools get to go on the road with me for 4 months and get brought back to the workshop to see if they’ve survived…

If they do they get thrown in my bag and tested a little more, just to make sure…

Breaking countless tools later have got it, and happy to share them all in the coming months 😁

And what a pleasant, calm day with Henry by my side keeping me company finding a Ds voice again 👌

Calm until 60mins to the end of the day and a mysterious buzz started from nowhere!

This followed a frantic call to the manager to get someone to press a D and D # 5 over and over again till…

A hair clip was discovered… retrieved from under the frame 😠

And 🧘 again 😮‍💨

And what a pleasant calm day with Henry keeping me company finding a Ds voice again 👌

Calm until 60mins to the end and a buzz started from nowhere!

Followed by a frantic call the the manager so someone could press a D and D # over and over again till…

A hair clip was discovered and retrieved from under the frame on the soundboard 😠

And 🧘 again 😮‍💨

One of those school tunings when you have to point out “it is was like that when I got here” before you tune the piano next to it…
