Competition teaches you the value of hard work and dedication, and success is the result of perfection, hard work, learning from failure, loyalty, and persistence.
Today, at the Little Common Tournament, DFM United showed everyone just how hard they have worked to make this team a team to feel proud of 💚🖤🩶
DFM Utd have faced some harsh criticism since starting up a year ago, but through adversity they have shown that integrity always prevails, finishing 4th out of 18 strong and competitive teams.
Keep doing what you’re doing kids, you are the epitome of a consolidated team ⭐️👏👏

The sun shone and the chilly wind blew for today’s game against Hastings United Whites at The Orchard 💚🖤🩶
DFM Utd took some time to warm up but once they’d got their heads in the game, they were unstoppable.🔥
Hastings Utd Whites took the lead with an accidental but avoidable own goal before DFM Utd equalised before half time, with some blinding one touch passing. ⚽️🥅
DFM Utd came out for the second half with their game faces on and soon took the lead.
Unfortunately, after a decision that split the field, Hastings Utd Whites managed to equalise.
DFM Utd weren’t phased and once again took the lead, coming away with the win!! 🏆
Both teams played some good football and for the supporters, it was an enthralling game to watch. Well done 👏

Today, on a very wet morning, we managed to get in a game of football against Hastings Utd Blacks at The Orchard 💚🖤🩶
Both teams started strong but DFM Utd were at a disadvantage, playing against the torrential weather, literally!
Despite battling hard against wind, rain and a well established team, DFM Utd went into the break goalless and behind.
After a strong TEAM talk, DFM Utd come out for the second half ready for the fight.
The weather had let up, giving DFM Utd the chance to really show off how far they’ve come in their first season.
The boys and girl played some nice attacking, free-flowing and direct football, meaning that they were able to claw back a few brilliant goals and stopping Hastings Utd from taking any more shots on target 🥅⚽️
Despite DFM Utd not coming away with the win, narrowly, they proved that they were the epitome of respectful and commendable sportspeople. This is a team of children to be proud of 👏
Thank you to Hastings United Blacks for giving DFM Utd a great and physical game of football.

DFM Utd welcomed Hooe to a friendly at The Orchard on the 17th February 24 🖤💚🩶
These two teams have gone up against each other a few times this season, and on every occasion have exhibited superb sportsmanship 💚🖤🩶
DFM Utd are very much a family club and this shows in abundance during matches; the camaraderie and tight-knit unity that exists is very apparent.
Today, this togetherness saw us create some fantastic opportunities, proving that we are listening and learning and really coming into our own!
The credit must go to Hooe for being a team who play with so much positivity, supporting each other from start to finish. They are the epitome of positive sportsmanship and because of this both teams have developed a true respect for each other. Well done 👏

Today on a wet February morning, DFM United hosted to Pass and Move Black 💚🖤🩶
The game was end to end from the offset and possession was evenly shared between the two teams, which made for a compelling game of football.
Goals were being scored simultaneously and the majority of the game saw both teams on an even keel ⚽️🥅
DFM United went into the second half looking for the win, having plenty of chances on goal and playing some great football.
Pass & Move had their chances too and put in some great effort, but, at the end of the day a draw was a fair result and the teams left feeling proud of themselves 👏
Well done to Pass & Move Black for giving DFM Utd an enthralling game of football - Good luck for the rest of the season!

Our first game in the red league saw DFM United travel to Hooe for a frosty, early morning kick off 💚🖤🩶
This was the third time both teams had faced each other and Hooe knew from the get go that DFM were going to be on the attack.
After strengthening their back line, half time saw both teams all square despite several near misses from DFM 🥅⚽️
Second half saw DFM come out on the front foot, playing with force and putting on the pressure to get a few in the back of the net.
Both teams played superb football and demonstrated admirable teamwork, proving that grassroots football really does bring everyone together🏆
Thank you to Hooe for your hospitality and support. We wish you all the best for the rest of the season! 👏
