Two big concerts are being advertised currently for HWH. You can get your tickets early and save some money either through www.mikeslist.uk which tells you all about the events and the cost or drop in to the cafe from next week and Caroline will have tickets that can be purchased from The Cafe @ His Place.

Thank you to everyone at the Lions Club making the purchase of the piano complete. There is a great line up this Autumn at Henry Ward Hall and so many musicians will be enjoying there performance with the use of such a beautiful piano.

Henry Ward Hall - Hastings Medium Sized, great atmosphere music / entertainment venue.
The Cafe & Community Centre.
His Place Community Church.

This building is used by many local groups who meet in the spaces as well as activity groups who come and take up a pew or sofa or too regularly.

We are in the process of fundraising for the next stage of grant funding applications as we now progress to restoring the Cambridge Road damaged masonry and the guttering system to prevent future water ingress. Our roof was not built for the weather of today. We have battled on and kept open and active even while going through the storms. If you would like to help with fundraising, joining our heritage care team and help us please get in touch with Nicky Roper who heads this up.

We're pleased to announce that from now on His Place Community Church and Henry Ward Hall has the ability to welcome Wheelchair Users as we have a Roll out Ramp that is accessible from the Cambridge Road entrance opposite ESK. Has been used a number of times already. We hope to be able to use eventually from the lower door entry next to Creative Media Centre just have some logistics for the internal portable ramp needs there.

Wow what a great evening we had in our Henry Ward Hall. The piano sounds amazing in the space. Alex is an amazing pianist. Thanks to all who performed and the audience for there participation. Can't beat Beatles music.

Look who came to visit us yesterday at the cafe ,Rosie ,and her Mum . They came today as where they live there is a lot of noise from building work going on . Rosie was so well behaved,and sang us a song or two, which was lovely,and everyone enjoyed their visit . We welcome well behaved dogs ,and now we have a well behaved Rosie come to join us .Hope they come again soon

Sorry The Cafe is closed today as we can't prepare food or have toilet access. The church community part of His Place are praying for this the water supply to be back on as soon as can be done, for the works to become less challenging for the water board employes who are working to seve us all, and for the community to continue to love and support those who are in need of support.

We’re sorry for the continued impact and disruption our customers are having in St Leonards, Hastings and rural areas around Westfield.

Our bottled water stations are now closed and will reopen again at 8am tomorrow morning, and we will announce a fourth bottled water station that will open tomorrow.

Our teams are continuing to work around-the-clock to remove the broken pipe and replace it with a new length of pipework. This work will continue throughout the night.

When this is completed, we will then recharge the network and restart our water supply works. However, this will take time and we expect disruption to continue into Sunday and potentially Monday.

If you are a vulnerable customer, or need access to water for medical reasons, and have not received a water delivery, please call 0330 303 0368.

We are very sorry for this disruption and will keep customers informed via our website and social media channels, as well as text messages and emails direct to impacted households.

The. Cafe is open 10 -3 Mondays Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays. Saturdays are 1st and 3rd sat only due to volunteer shortages. Cafe and activities for all ages. Some closed groups which require referrals happen in the hall. Open activities for anyone to join in with. Books, colouring, board games, card games and other activities available to use in cafe area. Half landing is available for small groups wanting to socialise. Sensory / play room available Fri pm and Saturdays when open. Some activities go on till 4pm or 4.30pm as stated. Find us in corner of Robertson Street, Hastings TN34 1HL.
