A 35mm slide from 1998 in Paignton, Devon. Air Sea Rescue practice on the seafront. An ideal opportunity to grab some images. Slide films had 36 exposures. If you were lucky you could squeeze an extra 2 frames. If this were today, I would have probably grabbed 38 frames in under a minute. Amazing how technology changes things. Back then it was more important to think and get the shot you needed rather than tap away and hope you got the shot you needed.

We all have friends…. But who is your best friend? As a photographer the closest and ultimately the best friend you have is “Light”. Natural, Artificial, shared or stolen….. image makers and creatives need light.
