I've been working hard behind the scenes for the past few months finalising my festive diary for 2024. I'm so excited to share with you this years events!

Yesterday I had a wonderfully productive morning taking a stroll along my local beach to gather some driftwood to use in my work 🏝 Do you think I have enough?! 😁

Today on my to do list - I'm cleaning up the driftwood and designing a few new items for my Halloween range 🎃🦇👻🐈‍⬛️ wish me luck!

How are you all on this beautiful autumnal day? After a bit of time away settling little one into school, and celebrating my other half's birthday, I'm back at work today. You may have noticed I've been a little quiet since Hampshire Open Studios. I've been taking a bit of time out to spend the last of the summer with the family. Just a quick note to let you know that I'll be back from 15th September when little one starts school full time 🥹

Only 2 days left to go of Hampshire Open Studios 😥 But what a treat we've got for you today! The super talented Paul J Best Art will be running a painting workshop this morning called 'Paint an impressionist landscape' 🎨

Mike Woodward showcasing his beautiful coloured pencil drawings of various animals

Flagship Art Group showing the lovely work that has been produced by their members with learning disabilities.

And the Bobbin Lacemakers demonstrating their wonderful skills at lacemaking. They also have a 'have a go pillow' where you can try your hand at Bobbin lacemaking.

Today at we have the fantastic .j.best demonstrating his painting skills by how to 'forge a monet'

Pop down and say hello and see this wonderful painting being created 🧑‍🎨

I have to say it's looks amazing already, but he paints pretty fast, so you've got to be quick if you want to see him at work 😊

So here's my finished little puffin, complete on his own piece of locally sourced driftwood 🌊

My 1st one sold yesterday, I've only got this one left now, but as you can see, more in the kiln that will be available from tomorrow at Hampshire Open Studios at The Dart Centre

Last year, quite a few people asked me about making various new animals. One animal that came up time and time again was a puffin... so I've been trying out a few ideas, and this is what I've created so far 😃 A little 'work in progress' peek. I'll show you the finished piece later today.
