I love to make cabochon rings and I love it more when I know that each gem has been sourced responsibly in respect of the planet.

This does mean that sometimes the choice of gemstones is limited and it also means that the gems are very special, not mass produced and that your beautiful jewellery will stand out not only for its beauty but for its uniqueness.

Gwels Ha Gwyns (grass and wind) was the first collection I ever created while studying silversmithing in Penzance 9 years ago. Inspired by the landscapes of grass moved by the wind that you see in south of Cornwall.
It was when the first idea of working with gold entered my mind. I waited another year before creating this collection in gold as I wanted to be sure that I could do it with using ethical gold.
Fastforward 8 years, Gwels Ha Gwyns bangles are my best sellers now and I I still love making them.

Two passions of mine 🪴succulent plants and 💍 jewellery
In the pictures is a new repurposed 9ct gold ring set with a tourmaline cabochon.
I’m really loving to set turmaline stones as the sun is timidly making its appearance on this side of the planet again. Something about the way the gems display their colour gradients under the first rays of sunshine that really soothes my spirit.

Responsible sourcing of materials and minimising environmental footprint are at the base of my practice.

Hello book of friendly faces
It’s been a while and you might have been wondering what I’ve been up to? Or maybe not.. 😅😂
Well, I’ll tell you anyway… This below👇🏽is my studio, currently being built by a lovely team of competent builders, and yes I’ve been incredibly busy managing the building site as well as making jewellery and this hasn’t left me any time to post on this platform.
So here I am at 23.07 🤪 finding the time to post a couple of pictures of what’s going on in the background.
The barn is a traditional Cornish stone and cob building and as you can see from the pictures we are trying to use as much as possible (building control permitting) all natural materials for the renovation project.
I promise I will be posting more about my actual goldsmith projects and jewellery making soon, but I thought to give you a contest and a reason for my prolonged absence from socials lately.

I’ve been waiting quite sometime to share this piece as terrorism, war, genocide unfold for our brothers and sisters in the Middle East.
Certain horrors leave you speechless… as a mother, and more simply as a human, I find unbearable to connect with the suffering of children and vulnerable people.

After a very busy time up to Christmas, I’ve been enjoying slowing down with my 6 year old daughter Robyn. Discovering that she also has a love for stitching and embroidery and that this is something we can do together, has made me very content and peaceful.
I’ve spent Christmas connecting with family, finding joy in all I’ve got that can’t be quantified and from this space I’d like to wish you all a serene Christmas.
May light and peace always prevail in our lives. Wishing for peace for all humans.

That time I designed and crafted a solid gold and pink coral rosary…
They say that practice makes perfect and by the time I was soldering the last of the 166 links in this rosary I could see a divine design coming through my life that I had very little involvement with. Whether that was beautiful as this rosary is, that’s an entirely different story 🙃
I was able to stay present to the events unfolding in my life and tend my grief with the same care I used to solder each link of this rosary chain.
Working with gold is not just about the craftsmanship, it is about the inner discipline that the craft brings into my life. It’s about the journey that takes me to master a chain, it’s about the mistakes along the way, it’s about the imperfection and the beauty that exclude from it.
