A new lease of life for an older fence

A tough project due to the hot weather, the granite sets are great for the edge of the drive and the flower beds and look great against the brickwork. Hardcore and scalpings were used on the driveway and it's ready for some cotswold shingle once the patio at the back is complete.

I was asked to check out some decking that had seen better days and was structurally questionable... the customer didn't want to replace the whole thing so we discussed a solution and we gave this decking years more life.

We returned to fit a gate.

This project was tricky... the original fence was on/in a backed up rockery, we removed the old one and replaced with posts and closeboard panels, the photos do not do this project justice.

A nice little closeboard fence with gravel boards, the customer wants to add some trellis at a later date, so she requested the posts to left longer to facilitate.

The same customer requested us back for a patio and a path.

Another fencing project and we did a spur that someone before us didn't install too well.

We've been busy... a full re-turf of two lawn's (the houses were next to each other) and some fencing to complete the project.

The customer wasn't sure why the fence wasn't finished by the previous fencer, but the repair looks 10 times better than an old pallet.

This customer had a dead bit of land behind his house, after the storm his garden was open to anyone who walked round. A small run of fencing restored privacy and security to his garden again.

Small post and panel replacement.

This heavy duty oak board fence fell on the house next door due to the wind. We carefully removed the boards, built a frame with new timber, re-cut the bottoms of the oak boards and reused them in the new fence. The photos don't do this job justice.

There was not much of a fence left when we arrived, looks great now though.

A wonky fence fixed using an unwanted pergola, I like recycling timber when possible.

Great little job in Caversham, the clients were lovely and very happy with the outcome. Potting shed base, erected the potting shed the customer ordered, laid a garden path and some fencing to close up a section of the fence line.

Delivery drivers where really churning up the grass outside a Shiplake property, posts fitted, problem solved!

Fence repair, out with the old in with the new! I replaced all the broken featheredge, a touch of paint needed
