Autumn mists, Japanese-style, in Makower's new Kasumi
Just arrived, this is Makower's new Japanese-influenced collection, Kasumi

The name means 'mist', and is formed from the kanji characters 'ka' – flower or blossom – and Sumi, – meaning clear or pure. And both florals and a sense of purity

This is Hajime, the new collection from Stuart Hillard. The name means 'beginning', and this is his first collection for Lewis & Irene

This collection and its colours are inspired by vintage men’s kimonos, once ubiquitous in Japan – everyday workwear made almost obsolete but still worn for some tradtional and formal occasions. Here it's been re-imagined for modern sewing projects, such as clothing, quilting, bag-making and other crafts.
