🏫 Wychwood School 📍Oxfordshire

This Headteacher's suite needed a storage solution that worked as both display and storage. Drawing on the traditional styling of the school, we adapted the cabinets to include a traditional cornice feature and shaker doors to suit the period styling.

Light as a material. Solid Oak inset drawer fronts with a large finger pull detail allow the light in the kitchen to articulate the design.

The island incorporates the hob, and bespoke unit. We designed the island to give maximum surface area, but also let light flow from the oriel window through the room.

In this solid Oak kitchen we hand textured the doors of the larder unit. As daylight moves across the unit the character of the space changes with it.
