Where we’re at ➡️➡️➡️ where we started! Appointment no. 2 and we’re nearly at where she wants to be. It can take time to go from warm to blonde safely when the hair is already compromised, and Chloe is always happy to go with the flow ✨✨

Colour correction to get my incredible client wedding ready 👰‍♀️✨

There were a few bands of colour - 1cm of natural root, an inch of a light brown, few inches of really dark going into warm ends. This needed to be corrected before colouring so we had a more even base to work with. I used Colour Reset to remove the dark colour. What’s amazing about this product is it only removes artificial colour molecules and doesn’t touch the virgin hair (as you can see on pic 4, about 1cm) it also has no bleach or ammonia. Thanks to the girls at for the recommendation, certainly a product I am going to keep stocked in the salon!

I then did a subtle balayage and face frame with blondor 4%, Colour Touch 7/0, 8/0 & 7/1 equal parts in between the foils.

We were doing a balayage and a warm root colour a year ago, but her last 2 appointments I’ve been trying to remove the warmth and be as bright as possible. I think we’re there 🤍

We use Olaplex every time and she seriously looks after her hair at home and it shows 🤩 but if she asks me to go warm again I’m saying NO 🤣♥️

My client had been using colour removers on her hair to try and get rid of the dark colour build up on the ends which were considerably darker than her root to mid section of her hair. This hadn’t been working for her so she came to me and we set some goals:
- Lighten the ends so we have more of an even base ✅

Would you believe I only used 6 bleach foils for this!? That’s because I added 96g of InvisiTapes in shades ‘Hot Toffee’ & ‘Mocha Melt’ so I only needed to foil her money piece. Leanne loved the idea of having blonde back in her hair, but didn’t want to damage her hair with more bleach, so this was the perfect option! She will just need to keep on top of her brown when having her tape maintenance and the occasional face frame to brighten her up. The tapes on the rack may look scary to you, but this is a perfect example of ✨trust the process✨
- Blondor for the faceframe, pre pigged the rest with Perfecton /34 then went over with KP 6/07 and 55/0

Refresh for Harriet. We were just doing a slight face frame before, but as we cut a full fringe in we decided to scalp bleach the whole front section about an inch from the front right down to her ears for extra contrast and I’m sorry but we nailed it, she’s just such a VIBE 🫶🏼🫶🏼 refit of hair extensions - mixture of weave and nanos, the perfect duo!

Dreamy balayage, with some warm lowlights 7/3 only painted from the root about 4-6 inches down to break the blonde up and add some depth. My client is due to have her baby soon and doesn’t want the commitment of full head of foils. Toned with 9/03 and a dash of 9/01.

Half n Half 🤍🤎

Chelsea was in my chair for 8 hours! Yep… EIGHT HOURS. Here’s the breakdown:

1. Parted the hair directly down the middle and marked out the hair extensions to see where we needed to custom colour
2. Removed extensions and placed on my refit rack
3. Sectioned hair into quarters and used Perfecton /43 on the brown side to pre pig the blonde to ensure the brown didn’t go khaki/muddy, dried this into the hair and sectioned out of the way
4. Started on the blonde side back quarter taking tiny slices using bleach 6% and , ensuring not to touch the existing lifted blonde on the ends, then worked through the top section.
5. Mixed up the colour using 9/97 and 7/1 equal parts and the scalp bleach.
6. Pulled the foils down slightly and applied the scalp bleach ensuring every part of the blonde side was fully saturated (apart from the ends)
7. Back to the brown side and applied the colour all over, making sure no colour touched the bleach using balayage wrap to cover each side
8. Coloured the brown side of extensions (same process as on Chelsea’s head) and toned blonde side with 10/0, 10/81 & 10/6
9. The extensions weren’t darkening, so went in with 7/0 to try and deepen the colour
10. Started washing, beginning with the bleach side so Chelsea had to sit in the chair on her side whilst I washed with COOL water, then repeated the other side
10. There was a 1 and a half inch banding about 3 inches from the root and it was clear that this was old colour build up so I did a bleach bath on the mid section which did nothing
11. Re foiled only touching the orange band and of course more olaplex. I knew her hair couldn’t take any more so we decided to leave it at that for the day, and Chelsea had one last toner this morning with Jess (thank you Jess 🙌🏼)

The lovely Lauren then fitted the hair extensions and styled and how perfect 😮‍💨 in LOVE ♥️
