Year 2 had a great day at Lee Valley Farm. They were able to feed some of the animals whilst learning about their habitats and diets.
On Tuesday morning Year 5 completed the final of their Young Leaders Project. We were so very proud of how they interacted with the public down at the Memorial Hall Tea Room. We helped out with the stay and play for young children and served in the cafe.
Today was our last magazine club. Over the past couple of months, the girls have worked really hard to complete teacher interviews, research on Watton village and the school, interviews with past pupils, creating games, colouring pictures and more!
Today we had a magazine launch party! The girls received a hard copy of their magazine, had some treats, and made a fun poster remembering our time at magazine club! A fantastic finished product, well done girls!
This afternoon Year 3 visited Watkins Hall farm for a geography focus afternoon to learn about maps. Before mapping an area of the farm, the children learnt how to use and interpret maps and the difference between human and physical features on maps. A huge thank you to Sam and Alison for hosting us.

Watton’s Got Talent Final. After a week of auditions, this morning we had an amazing time watching all of the finalists. Auditions are taking place during this week and the final will be held on Friday morning. We can’t wait to see this year’s talented acts.
With only a few days left until the final count, we would really appreciate it if our families, friends and community could continue to support us with collecting the blue tokens. In some stores we are in the lead!!! This photo was taken at the Broadwater store recently. We would love to win as we would receive £1,500 to spend on our early years outdoor areas. We have already started to make these improvements in the outdoor areas but the funding would really help us. Thank you for your help and support.
