I finished my coiled weaved bowl !

On Saturday I attended a local workshop with the wonderful learning to make a small coiled bowl from garden leaves & raffia, using the blanket stitch method ... thus is my finished bowl 🤎

I love learning traditional crafts, and will definitely be making more!

I'll share the process in my story ☺️

I've always been fascinated by Stained Glass so I treated myself to a Copper Foiling Starter Kit ... can't wait to get started!

At last the UK has some decent 🌞

But! I've managed to get a nasty bout of covid -
Yes I've tested, for 2 reasons [Dont knock me, read on please]...(I have a couple of people in our friendship/family circle who have significant health issues, where catching a flu virus can lead to them developing much more serious health issues, plus my son is sitting his GCSE'S right now!!) ...so I'll keep out their way until I'm fully recovered

SO... I decided to sit on my flat balcony for some vitamin D and get my kumihimo box out the cupboard to stop me from going stir crazy with boredom & feeling sorry for myself!

Finished products to be shared very soon ... just need to find my glue to add the jewellery clasps!

Yay happy days - got my tumbler back working again at the weekend, so I spent a few days deconstructing some jewellery I no longer wear, popping the findings in the tumbler with some other silver items to be cleaned ... now I have lots of sparkling clean silver ✨️ 😃✨️

I'm trying out something new today - a Persian chain mail bracelet ... its testing my patience but I won't give up!
