A big welcome to
LAURA! π
Girl power begins at Nuffield heath Hertford with Laura joining our team.
With her extensive knowledge and experience of women's health and transformation as well as getting ready for and competing in sports such as football , swimming and triathlons.
Laura uses weights and plyometrics to help people reach their goals whether its training for a triathlon or simply fighting the battle of weight loss.
Laura will also be involved in our COVID19 Rehabilitation program starting in September.

Helping Core Stability - Part 4!
I hope you have been finding some success with the exercises for improving your core?
Heres the last one to try...
Seated Deadbug
Sit onto sitting bones with knees pointed to sky.
Inhale to prepare
Roll down to where you feel comfortable.
Exhale lift right leg and left arm
Inhale to draw arm and knee towards abdominals.
Exhale to lengthen arm and leg away from abdominals.
Repeat for 20 reps then change arms and legs.
Alternative: Bottom leg bends to support.
Progression: Lift opposite leg so both legs are off the mat.

Hi Guys!
GINA here again bringing you exercise 3 in our Improving Core Stability Series!
THE next exercise is:
Side lying lift both legs
Line body up with mat and hold core
Inhale to prepare
Exhale lift both legs off the mat with arm securing the head
Hold for 20 seconds and repeat on other side
Repeat for 20 reps x 3 rounds
Alternative: Bottom leg bends to support the lower back
Progression: Close your eyes for an extra balance

Lets look at first;
The Leg lift
How to...
Sit onto sitting bones,
Inhale to prepare exhale to lower abdominals and lift one leg with opposite leg bent
Lift and lower to knee height
20 reps on one leg then change to other leg
Alternative: Come to elbows
Progression: Lift opposite leg off the floor

Make sure to stay in your boxed area

Use headphones and a personal video/audio device so you dont disturb others

make sure you don't train in groups

Clean down kit after use
Its a great alternative to a busy gym to ensure you don't miss out on training.
We expect our group exercise classes to return on 17th May, so until then... use these spaces.
