Two years ago marked the beginning of our partnership with Tasty Mates, as they ventured into a collaboration with an agency for the first time. As a company, we understand major events and specialise in logistics and co-ordinating large teams. Our company was founded by directors who managed London 2012, Rio 2016, The G7 and COP26.

Our team worked on the Rugby World Cup in 2023 and would love to share our success story with you!

We screened, interviewed, and recruited 120+ regional staff in Paris, Lyon, and Marseille. We facilitated the movements of thousands of fans from the moment they arrived in France until the moment they left. We project-managed all ground staffing elements of the logistics plan, including all allocation planning, rotas, training, and training documents.

We implemented 416 shifts completing over 3000+ hours in 3 French host cities with a 24-hour staff staffing operation facilitating early morning meet and greets at the airport and late-night departures from the stadium.

We have 9 years of experience working alongside for Dell Technologies providing registration management, registration team and hosts for the Dell Technologies Forum, Dell Technologies Presidents Club in EMEA and the Gartner Symposium in Barcelona.

In 2022, we delivered registration management in twenty-three cities across EMEA for the technical set up, live and pack down, managing a local team of hosts in each city. We provided hosts and activity management for the Presidents Club EMEA and Latin America (LATAM) Tenerife. We delivered registration team and management, scanned breakout sessions and offered directional hosting at the Dell Technologies Forum in London.

We are proud to have gained Harry Styles and his pleasing brand as clients last year. The brand's ethos sits very well with our own, it’s not about adhering to beauty norms, but rather celebrating unique identities. Our authentic personalities resonate with the brand and its target demographic.

Our first event with Pleasing was the London Shroom Bloom pop-up. We trained our team on the beauty products and apparel, the company's ethos and the point of Sale system. Our Implementers managed expectations and controlled the queues of fans who were waiting for up to six hours. We captured photo opportunities for the fans so that they could share them on social media. We introduced and educated the consumers on the beauty products, apparel and merchandise.

Doritos partnered with in 2022.

Our implementers enhanced the consumer experience by inviting Doritos x Strawberries & Creem competition winners to the Doritos viewing platform with the best view of the main stage to enjoy the backdrop and share some amazing images on Social!

They also sampled delicious Doritos and dips to the hungry festival goers, encouraging them to try new taste combinations!

Post-pandemic our first event was the historic 47th G7 Summit. We were proud to be appointed logistical staffing partner supporting the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) in their delivery of this momentous event.

We were one of several agencies approached to provide staff for the G7 logistics operation, but we were the only company to be able to deliver on a local team. We screened, interviewed, recruited and accredited forty-five hyper-local staff in response to the government's charter to engage the local community. We facilitated the movement of the world leaders and their delegations throughout the four day summit. We provided production assistants, runners, IT support, telephone operators (24 hours), logistical management, front-of-house hosts, load zone and airport meet and greet teams. We supported the FCDO with a meet and greet together with logistical management at the prestigious Eden Project Leaders Dinner and the Minack Theatre First Ladies lunch.

About The Power of Events:

Since its formation in July 2020 by Rick Stainton, Founder and Group Executive Director of and Simon Hughes, the cross sector coalition One Industry One Voice (OIOV) set about bringing together the 7 core industry sectors to collaborate on their response to the impact of Covid. It's mission was to facilitate understanding of the pandemics challenges and share information.

This informal coalition supported various campaigns and created the campaign.
This voluntary initiative evolved into the formal structure of a not for profit company limited by guarantee called The Power of Events (UK) in April 2022. It aims to:

• Create a comprehensive communications hub alongside an event analysis and evaluation platform to
support the UK events industry.

• Work in partnership with universities across all Four Nations to design and deliver research and data that demonstrates the social, economic and environmental impacts of events across the UK.

• Provide a one stop showcase for the UK Events Industry that fully maps out the range of sectors,
expertise and networks.
