We can be deterred from heading outside as the days become colder. The benefits we feel by getting outside, during the colder months, especially whilst the winter sun shines down, are plentiful. We embraced a beautiful November day 💚

Beautiful blue skies, and 2 Easter Woodland camps in one day. Lots of families joined us, along with 3 gorgeous dogs!
Campfire treats, hammock play and Easter Egg hunts were the firm favourites.
To each and everyone who shared special time with us in the woods today, we thank you 💚

We never tire from hearing the children in camp telling us that one of the best feelings is just playing alongside their friends in the woods. The freedom, time and space to be curious, negotiate, problem solve, support and share their knowledge and experience with each other.
Our Easter camp today was full of laughter. Truly doesn’t get better than a day shared with our little Community of Woodland Warriors.

A break in the harsh, wintery conditions we’ve experienced this week. It enabled us to run our woodland camp for children with additional needs today.
We said good bye to one special family, returning to live in Tokyo. We welcomed back some familiar friends, who joined forces with new friends.
There is little else that can touch the needs of each individual so effortlessly.

Thank you to one of our wonderful families for introducing us to a Polish tradition, and bringing donuts for everyone at camp today. ‘Fat Thursday’, the last Thursday prior to Ash Wednesday and the beginning of Lent, is one of the most important holidays, and it mainly revolves around eating as many doughnuts as possible, all in the name of good luck.

To be so in touch with the Earth! Following your own heart and needs. This little fella knows! We all need more of this 💚💚
