We visited potential clients on Monday this week. Following the advice around Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney and complex business issues they decided to go ahead. Which was great and we are starting to draft documents.

In the meantime, today we received some beautiful flowers for helping them solve over 20 years of argument and indecision.

We love to be appreciated. It is so much more than just a business to us.

It was with a heavy heart that I spent ages wrenching all my rings off my wedding finger this week. Age has meant that I just can’t get them over my knuckles any more and I’d have ended up having them cut off!

As most people know, I spend my days helping families with estate planning, Wills and probate etc. What I am NOT going to do is put my rings in a drawer until I die - then my daughters can inherit! I’m going to let them enjoy them now by giving them now!

What have you got that you could share with your children and loved ones now instead of leaving it until you die?

Happy ending. Today, unexpectedly, my husband has bought me this large champagne diamond ring to wear instead. Still in love after 40 years. Not bad eh! I’m not a weepy person but the lady in the gorgeous little antique shop witnessed a huge tear in my eye…
