Got a little bit further with this one. Hoping to do the underside and the stem tomorrow and see if the top needs a few more tiny filler dots. Loving the new tools and the toadstool/mushroom stem set is really useful to get another use out of the stone set I got earlier in the year. Always something new to tempt me, Kate! 😂

Got to get started some time!! 😂 Actually I just wanted to try out the new tools that arrived while I’ve been at my dad’s on the toadstools I cast a few weeks ago. But the craft fair season does approach quite quickly and once it gets going there’s not so much time for playing with ideas

Another new kit designed and knitted while I’ve been away at my dad’s this week. Now I’m looking forward to dyeing up some exciting colour combinations so you can knit yourself something snuggly ready for Autumn

I’m spending a few days away from my dye studio at home so I’m taking some time to get some more handdyed merino prefelt listed in my Etsy shop. Lots of variegated rolls and more packs of 4 coordinated sheets. Colours for everyone!

A little hint at something special to come

New batch of handdyed prefelt rolls dyed on Sunday and rinsed, dried, ironed, packaged and photographed today - great weather for getting these jobs done! They’ll be heading into my Etsy shop soon. Now the packs of 4 sheets are on the way too

Well someone was happy with my delivery this morning! I dropped my new range of Millhouse Minis at and Katie just couldn’t wait to dive in! 30 colours to choose from and there are also 2 new patterns to use them. Great for colourwork. Do pop into the shop and have a look if you’re in the area

Fun day in taking part in and raising vital funds for

Last batch of the day. Most of these are made using my late Mum’s funeral flowers which I pressed after she died at the beginning of last year. Never had the chance to print them last summer but today seemed like a good choice as it would have been her birthday this last Tuesday. The batch includes some prints on watercolour paper which I’m going to frame and offer to her grandsons as keepsakes. There will be something for my dad and my brother too for f they would like them and I’ll be embroidering one of them for myself
