This Saturday see’s the 1st XI travel to second place Edgerton & Dalton. Then on Sunday it’s a quick turnaround with the reverse fixture against Lascelles Hall! This weekend the first XI take on newly promoted Mirfield Cricket Club 2s at the Bridge. While the second XI have a rest week on Saturday, but host Thurstonland Cricket Club 2s in the quarter final of the Earnshaw Cup on Sunday.

With the weather looking ‘average’ junior training is on from 6pm this evening.

Join us for our 3rd Ladies Prosecco Cricket Tea event. Bringing the lovely ladies of Holmbridge together to enjoy an afternoon without the men folk.

The new 🏏 season is upon us and Friday Night Junior Training is back on down at The Bridge.
Starting at 6pm, training sessions will be run by our own fully ECB Qualified Coaches and will be structured to cater to individual age groups/abilities. A big warm welcome awaits any players, new and old.
And if you’ve never tried, come on down and give cricket a try, all welcome. Grab your mate, your sister or your brother, bring them along. This year we are fielding 5 junior age groups: Under 9s, Under 11s, Under 13s, Under 15s & Under 17s.
Parents are encouraged to relax in the
clubhouse and enjoy the facilities during these training sessions.

Whatever happens next weekend it’s not for the want of trying! As most other clubs in the land, HUGE kudos to our two ground-gods that are Mark Roberts and Alan Frear you two sirs, are legends, and we thank you. 🫡

With the ground still so very wet, we’ve taken the decision to cancel tonight’s junior training session. Fingers crossed for next week.

This year there are quite a few milestone birthdays within the club, all amounting to 380 years. Come join us on Saturday 4th May for a giant birthday party for Rich, Cloughy, Courtney, Bogey, Earny, Si and Ollie B.

The 2024 season will see us enter our second year with suppliers who will provide our cricket clothing.
From off-field training shirts, polos, hoodies and shorts. Along with the full line-up of whites; shirts, jumpers & trousers all available from our online club shop.

Join us at the Clubhouse on Friday, 5 April from 6pm onwards for signing-on night. We will be running teams at U9, U11, U13, U15 and U17 this season, so come down and get involved and sign your children up for the coming season. New players are always welcome.

Our group of ECB qualified coaches 🏆 will also be available to discuss plans for the season and to answer any questions that you may have.

Outdoor 🏏 training will then run from Friday, 12th April, 6.00 - 7.30pm and every Friday after that through until September.
