The latest in our monthly 30k meets is THIS FRIDAY. 19th. I hope you can all come and enjoy the fun. There will be limited ZM boards so bring two lists. A standard 1500 pt and a ZM 750pts

This Friday mark Kelly will be running a Carnevale night. Just bring down a gang of 75 ducats. Or whatever you have and join in the fun.
Don’t worry if you would like to join in but don’t have any models we can lend you a gang and help you learn the ropes.

The 40k in 50 min is this Friday.
All you need is a legal 40k army of 500ptz whith no more than 70 models and no more than one of each data sheet with the exception of battle Line which can have 3. The event starts at 7 and finishes at 10.

As Z little bonus all enter ends receve a free gift and the chance to win our end of season store champion trophy.

Don’t forget it’s 30k night tonight at the HGC. 1500pts starts at 7 please try to be there for 6:30.

This friday at the HGC our 30k narrative continues. Just bring yourself and a 1500 pt list. Last month the loyalists stole the show can the traitor forces get revenge?
It all kicks nid at 7pm and should be finished for 10pm so don’t be late.

The War is moving on, the Traitors still present at Molech, were tasked to hunt down the surviving Loyalists, however what ensued was a series of devastating skirmishes. Many a traitor warband and hunting packs were found wanting by the vengeful and renewed vigor of the Loyalists survivors.

In other battles, hordes of Neverborn rose up to halt a loyalist counterattack, Raven guard poising as Loyalist, struck a devastating blow against some weary salamanders.

Survivors of the shattered legions, the Iron hands arrived and carved some bloody victories from their enemies, whilst in one battle, a group of Salamanders punished a warband of the Warmasters own.

Now incensed by the Loyalist resistance, the traitors, can now ascertain their numbers and dispositions, they rally to deliver a decisive blow against the loyalists and purge Molech of their taint!

Mission - Mission 2 Onslaught



His lasgun toned empty, he dropped to a kneeling position, releasing the power cell as he moved. In seconds his weapon was back online, and he returned to laying down suppressing fire on the last few known traitor positions.

Over the previous week the Raven guard marines had rallied the surviving human’s and had drilled them in combat training. Now he was ready, his mind set, weapon handling and tactical awareness had all improved, he was the best solider he had ever been.

The battle had quickly moved on with the Sons of Horus falling back, against the ambush that had decimated them. Now outpaced by the battle he found himself redundant. Looking out across the devastating battle scape the land was churned up by the ferocity of the fighting. The ground was littered with bodies, both human and Astartes. Burning tanks were sporadically dotted about, burning like miniature infernos, sending huge black plumes of smoke up that blocked out the sky.

Looking around his squad Sergeant, spotted a cluster of dead Sons of Horus, one moved! The Sergeant ordered a fire team to stay and give over watch, whilst he would lead a team to finish off the downed enemy.

I the over watch position, he looked down his sights and watched his squad Sergeant lead the kill team in, the fool advanced straight towards the injured marine, soon he could not make a clear shot, without risk of hitting his own squad.

The kill team quickly closed on their wounded prey, they stopped and chose that moment to sort their bayonets out, the idiots!

Too quick to register the Sons of Horus were up, using just their fists they completely pulverised soldier after soldier's heads, with jack hammer punches. One of the astartes, who was laid on the floor, fired. Back in the overwatch position, they were struggling to get a clear shot, the soldier next to him was aiming down his sights trying to give cover, his head just exploded as a massive reactive round hit him, blood, skull and brain matter showered everyone. The withdrawal was ordered, they were running again. He could hear the screams of his squad mates as they were torn apart behind him.

Hi everyone. It’s Winehammer weekend. We are open as usual. But we may be bussier than normal. As always we will try as always to make sure everyone has a space to play. 😀

Board game night tat the HGC TONIGHT.

This Friday 8th is epic board game night.
Featuring games like space hulk and many more. So if you have a game you always wanted to play of your just want to join in come on town to the HGC.
As a little bonus I will be dropping small spot prizes into some of the games😘

This Friday 1st March. Come down for a casual meet. No competition. Just an excuse to enjoy the AOS game system.

THE 40k in 50 min is back.
Starting again this Friday ”23rd” it will run on the last friday of the month for 10 month. As normal you can win our HGC prize tokens but as an added bonus. At the end of the season a special award will be presented to our top winner.

The rules are simple.
1: You must bring a legal 40k list of 500pts.
2: Rule of 1 for any non battle line units.
3: Up to 3 for battle line and dedicated transports.
4: No more than 70 models

And that’s it. You will have 3 games to play lasting 50min each. First game starts at 7. So if you could be there a little early for list checks that would be great.

The next Blood Bowl 7s tournament will be Sunday 25th. All coaches are welcome to try to get their name immortalised (in biro) on the trophy! Will James retain? Will Ste become the first 3 time champion? Will Nuffle anoint a new champion?

The HGC Monthly 30k Narrative
16th Feb 2024 Mission 1

The Heresy rages on, billions toil and die in this war that eclipses the known galaxy. Humans, trans-humans and other things fight each other in a war not to just to claim control of the Imperium but also the souls that make it up.

At Molech, Loyalists have gathered in unseen numbers since Istvaan. Astartes, Imperial Army, Solar Auxiliary and Mechanicium have fortified the Knight world, only for it to be split asunder in an attack of unforeseen scale. Now all these armies rally to fight. They either fight for Horus the Warmaster or his Father the Emperor. Everyone must choose a side, which one will you choose?

He closed his eyes and took a deep breath...... enjoying the darkness, the lack of horror, of death, of failure. The reprieve was strained by the constant ringing of tinnitus in his right ear.

He felt the weariness in his bones and then the memories took him.
Stood in the defensive positions, thousands of them. Surround by troops and tanks, which idled with their rumbling engines.

The sun was low in the sky and he strained to look past it's glare, he pulled his goggles down from his helmet and fixed them over his eyes.
High up, he started to see a sea of pinpricks in the sky, each one a miniature burning star.

They were drop pods..

Suddenly the drop pods rained from the skies, each one bringing a deafening thunderclap, thousands of them, with them came a multitude of aircraft, tearing down at insane speeds.
Alarm klaxons roared out and officers were yelling orders. He switched his hydra gun platform on, and scanned for a target, a drop pod. He tracked it's trajectory....ready... Boom!
The tanks around him started firing, the shock wave from their cannons almost threw him from the restraints. His platoon commander was angrily mouthing something at him whilst gesturing to the sky.
Shoot the planes, that's all I needed to do..around him a sea of lazers and solid munitions raced up to reach the drop pods and aircraft.

He brought his aiming reticle round to bare, only suddenly he saw a pin prick of a star, blue in colour within a milli second it was a beaming lance or searing heat and light, in an instant smoke rose from his clothing, he fought free of his restraints as they felt like they were burning him. The beam hit the ground somewhere past his position. For a nano second he thought....the shock wave hit him, the blinding flash came with it and he was launched over the hydra platform, which itself flip, crushing the platoon commander.

He opened his eyes, seeing colours trace across the sky In front of him, he was laying on his back, he couldn't hear anything, he could only feel the warm flushes of shock waves as they washed over him....

Suddenly he remembered where he was, the battle. He got to his knees. Around him was a sea of destruction. Drop pods slammed into imperial army troops, tanks drove straight through anyone in their paths, Astartes were there, using lighting wrack scythes to cut swathes of troops down.

A blue armoured Astartes appeared, running at the ones with the scythes. Oh thank the Emper.......the blue Astartes was suddenly smashed to the ground, a hulking black armoured warrior wielding a monstrous hammer, smashed him. On his head was a top knot and on his shoulder a burning golden eye....the eye. He was here, Horus was here.

The fear took over, so he ran, he ran as hard as he could, he ran through the pain, through the death, through the horror.

His thoughts returned to the present, of the lancing pain he felt every time he breathed in, of the leaden weight in his limbs and the ache of lactic acid. He was filthy from head to toe, caked in mud, blood and what ever else was flung around the battlefield.

He, looked to see the towering figure stood sentinel still beside him. The figure made a silent gesture with his armoured hand. How could something so big be so quite. His black armour almost blended into the shadows.

The gesture was clear to understand, 'Move'.

He got up, as quietly as possible, but seemed more like an alarm bell, compared to the black armoured Astartes.
He had survived the slaughter to on the murder fields, but now he was part of the Loyalists, who were fighting to survive, fighting to hurt Horus and his Horde of traitors.

The first Game in our monthly 40k narrative will be “Dominion” from page 315 in the age of darkness rule book.
The Armies
Players will bring a 1500pt Legal army from one of the Force organisation charts available. (Remember this is fun and narrative there are no prizes for ruining your opponents night). The aim is to get started for 7pm and finished for 10pm
Setting up the game
Players will move to the designated tables for there game. The objectives and table layout will be set up by the Event organiser before armies are deployed
Deployment
We will be using the “Clash Of The Line” Deployment map. Players roll off with the winner choosing deployment zone and deploying there army first.

Starting Friday 16th Feb.
Our new 30k monthly narrative night will be starting.
