5 years ago today, I lost what I considered to be the best job in the world.

One minute I was blissfully taking a nap on a long flight, the next I was walking into the job centre looking for work. For any young aspiring pilot reading this, understand that you will no doubt be in a similar scenario during your career. But don’t let that deter you from following your passion.

From that career low 5 years ago, I’ve built a business from the ground up as well as return to the skies. Had that difficult scenario not occurred, I may have never started Altitude Coffee London.

I now firmly believe that everything happens for a reason, so don’t be disheartened if you feel like you haven’t achieved what you wanted just yet. It will happen in time. Fly safe all and drink good coffee!

We’re recruiting for a part time roastery assistant. If you or someone you know are looking to start a career in coffee, this role may be for you.

Come and join our friendly team at Altitude Coffee London. As a roastery assistant you’ll be in charge of order fulfilment, general upkeep of the roastery, and assisting the Head Roaster with daily roasting activities.

Hi, I’m Joe. I’m the founder of Altitude Coffee London. My other job is working as a pilot. I founded during redundancy a few years ago.
