Join our Tin Trail campaign to support the Horsham District Foodbank! 😀

The Horsham District Foodbank continues to support between 600–700 individuals with food parcels every month.

Despite the incredible generosity of our local community, the volume of food donations we are receiving is dropping, meaning a lot of our shelves are critically low or in some cases empty.

We had such a great response from our Tintastic campaign – we are hoping the community can come together once more.

Please help us encourage donations by collecting food donations for the next few weeks and then dropping them off at our Tin Trail to create the longest line of food donations in ONE DAY.

👉Drop off your donations at The Bridge Leisure Centre on Tuesday, 9th July from 9am-8pm and the team will add them to the line.

Our most needed items include:
Tinned meat
Tinned potatoes
Tinned fruit
Custard
Rice
Cooking Sauces
Coffee
Long life milk
Fruit juice
Squash

Together we can ensure no one goes hungry in our community. 💚

It's not just St George that's in the dragon slaying business you know...
Legend has it that Horsham's very own dragon was slain by St Leonard, a hermit living in the forest during the 6th century. Lily of the valley is said to grow to this day where his blood fell during the battle. As a reward for his conquest, St Leonard called for all snakes in the forest to be banished and all nightingales to be silenced so as not to disturb his prayer. All was peaceful for 1000 years until "a strange and monstrous serpent" was again spotted in St Leonard's Forrest. Keep your wits about you when walking in the woods people 👀

Horsham Serpent Gin is a collaboration between ourselves and Crates Local. Aromatic botanicals include pink peppercorn and chilli, with just a hint of orange. Serve with orange peel and a chilli if you dare.

Dillions Vineyard wines - on special by the glass or bottle or buy from the shop and take home. Single estate vineyard in the heart of the Sussex High Weald. Amazing wine, light to enjoy with some Weald Smokery smoked salmon, poached local Coloroy Farm eggs and freshly baked Coburn and Baker Bagel. See you soon….

We are urgently searching for 15-year-old Ryan, who is missing from Crawley.

Ryan was last seen leaving his home address shortly after 8am on Thursday (4 January) and concerns are growing for his welfare.

He is believed to be wearing a green coat, blue tracksuit bottoms, black trainers and a black rucksack.

If you see Ryan or know where he is, please call 999 quoting serial 927 of 04/01.
