A bad reception area in Newsome here.. Double boom digital aerial, heavy duty steel mast and fittings, with a masthead amplifier it did the trick! Providing a good reception from Emley Moor with all free to air Freeview channels. Jobs a good un!

Normally a standard installation does the job, but trees can play havoc with TV aerial and sky dish reception at this time of the year.

Trees can play havoc with sky and freesat signals..sometimes the only option is to raise the dish high enough for the signal to go above and clear the trees. It has to be nice and strong though. This one has heavy duty mast and fittings with galvanised T and K wall brackets. Also including a terrestrial digital TV aerial for the freeview channels as back up💪
Yesterday in Holmfirth.

Sometimes in the Colne valley area when the signal is so bad from Emley because of the obstruction of the hill, it might be possible to bounce or reflect the signal by pointing the aerial towards the other side of the valley..on this occasion it worked a treat and good signal strength and quality was achieved that resulted in my customer receiving all Freeview channels!

It's that time of the year again..the trees are in full leaf and was causing havoc with this customers freesat signal due to the dish mounted too low on the wall.
All good now though..New dish, Wideband LNB, 7 foot by 2inch heavy duty mast and Cradle bracket mounted on the chimney. Optimum signal strength now and his 4k freesat box up and running!

This high gain tv aerial installation was necessary in what is a notoriously weak reception area in Colne Bridge. Mounted vertically and pointing in the direction of Cop Hill relay Station at Slaithwaite was the only option to receive a good signal whilst still continuing to pull a few extra bonus channels in from Emley. No more expensive virgin or sky contract for this customer now there freeview is up and running!

As a rule, to guarantee perfect freeview reception..a tv aerial needs to be fitted outside on a chimney or high up on the outside wall of a building, but on occasion if you are in a very good reception area, an aerial installed in the loft can work just fine.
Pictured here are examples from this last week of both an outside aerial installed on a chimney breast and a loft installation. This loft aerial worked so well that I was able to run 3 tvs from a 3 way splitter without the need for a distribution amplifier/booster thanks to been in such a strong reception area..Jobs a good un!
