Do you know why we are called Stiggins Tea?

When my daughter was small she loved to play in the bath with pots and pans, cups and beakers, soap and bubbles. Obviously, I stayed in the bathroom with her to keep her safe and she would often make me a lovely warm 'potion' that I had to pretend to drink of course! No matter which cup or beaker she chose, how many bubbles it had or the colour of the potion my daughter always called it "hot stiggins". We have no idea where this came from but doesn't it sound delicious! Therefore, when we set up our loose leaf tea business and we were deciding on a name it was no surprise that at 19 years old her answer was "hot stiggins" and that was when Stiggins Tea was born.
