I know you’re going to kill us for saying it but we just wanted to let you all know that our Christmas book is now open, and it’s filling up fast🤣

Please please please if you need specific times and days book in advance, we’ll be busier than ever but we’ll do our best to get everyone in!

Afternoon everyone! It’s been a long time here on the socials and we have some exciting news to bring to you today… Jess’ diary is back open!!

Jess will be returning to work as of 4th July working Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, and you can make your appointments online or over the phone!

She can’t wait to catch up with you all when she’s back is looking forward to getting creative again!🤍

What a perfect way to start off 2024 than with a new week, a new month and a new year! How satisfying!

Also we start off the new year by celebrating the salons 6th Birthday!! 6 years of love and support from all of our wonderful clients! We couldn’t have done it without you, each and every one of you are amazing and we would like to Thankyou for your continued support.

We want to keep offering you the best service and products here at Ruffles and unfortunately with our products and overheads going through the roof we have no choice but to introduce a new price list for 2024. It’s something we hate to do but we hope you understand and we can’t wait to see you when we re-open!

Our new prices will take effect from 1st Jan 2024 and can be found on Booksy or in our highlights.

****WARNING TO OTHER SALONS****

We have this weekend received a review which has devastated us.

This client was in on March 25th left happy with her hair even tipped a stylist £10 she was so happy and then leaves a 1 star review 4 months later!!

This client came in with box dyes on, both Sophie and Emma did a thorough consultation and gave their professional advice on how to achieve the target colour. This client proceeded to then tell them how to do their job. She insisted she wanted the bleach on for 2 hours + and insulted their work whilst carrying out the service.

She was incredibly rude, even clients in the salon spoke up. She rolled in 30 minutes late and expected the whole service to be completed which we compromised on and said we wouldn’t have time to blowdry.

I’m giving this warning out as it appears she’s been to multiple salons and left negative reviews I would hate for this to happen to any other small business!

The name to look out for is Guncha Shukurova.

On Tuesday the 20th June 2023, whilst on holiday, our beloved Macauley had an unexpected medical emergency whilst in the pool leaving him fighting for his life in Turkey. With the help of paramedics, Macauley Lockwood was resuscitated and is now currently on a life support machine fighting for his life in Bodrum Hospital. This has caused extreme devastation to our whole family who are trying to support our beloved son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin and friend and navigate our way through this awful time. Family members have put their work commitments on hold and travelled to Turkey to be by his side. We would really love all your support possible to be able to stay by Macauley’s side through these uncertain times🖤

I know a lot of you have been asking so I just wanted to introduce our new member, here he is, Oscar Mosley born 10th December 2022, weighing 5lb 9oz, he’s happy and thriving now weighing a chunky 8lb 4oz!!

We would like to say a massive Thankyou for all the well wishes, cards, and gifts, we’ve received so much love from you all and we are so ever grateful…

I hope your all doing well and I miss seeing your lovely faces, I look forward to catching up with you all in September🤍
