Here is a Summary of our felting workshops coming up over the next few months at Curioddity on a Wednesday Evening 6.30-8.30, and at Unity Yard on a Friday lunchtime at 11-1pm.

We also do private workshops where I come to you, minimum of 3 people at a time to suit us both.

All workshops £25 per person, no experience necessary, and all equipment, and materials will be provided.

What my hubby did last weekend!!

Had a lovely weekend with Jane in the woodland 🍄🎃🍂🍁🧚 at Artatthehouse, it was great just catching up with lots of people I haven’t seen in ages, and meeting lots of new more fabulous people too!! So much fun Making felt pumpkins here one of our favourites. See you next year, but with a little more sunshine hopefully ☀️

We’re all set up on the woodland trail at Artatthehouse come and explore there is so much to see and do!!

So this weekend myself, and upto 50 other artist are at Artatthehouse in Shepley 10-4pm on Saturday and Sunday.

There are lots of workshops to try including ceramic, fused glass, felting, macrame, quilling, printing, rake, throwing pots, glass painting and much more, including good food, a bar, as well as falconry.

So if you haven’t got anything else planed, come along it’s free to come and explore. I’m in the woodland doing needle felted pumpkin workshops all weekend!! Here are some of my one off magical woodland creations.

It’s starting to look like pumpkin 🎃 time of year!!
These solid wool pumpkins last forever, so you can buy them complete, come to a workshop, a gift voucher for our autumn workshops 🍂 or get a kit to do at home, in a colour and size of your choice.

Tiny pumpkins start at £7.50 up to large pumpkins upto £58.
Workshops approx £25 per person for 2hours including all materials (depending on venue). Group discounts available for private workshops.

Kits from £15 depending on size required.

So I did a thing!!

I joined in Thread Republic’s it’s not a duvet challenge! Upcycling challenge to transform a duvet cover into a garment.

If you want to see myself and the others makers display our garments in a catwalk runway display , come along and support us.

Crafty Baggage
Workshop title: Felted Pumpkins

Workshop description: Come and try needle felting, by making your own perfect pumpkin, complete with twirling tendrils.

Session times
Saturday: 10am (Drop in until - 3 pm)
Sunday: 10am (Drop in until - 3 pm)

Session duration: 1 hour

Suitable age range: above 12 years old

Maximum number per session: 5

Hannah and I had a fantastic day at New Brewery Arts with Fiona, Roxy and Sophie doing lots of natural dyeing. We played with Buddleia,Dahlias, Madder, Walnut husks, Weld, Avacado stones, and Blueberries, as well as different mordant modifiers iron, copper, soda ash and vinegar.
Sophie also showed us how to prepare inks from the dye baths, can’t wait to do embroidery with it today!!

What a lovely day wandering round Holmfirth Artweek with Jane. We have some amazing local talent, and it’s such an inspiration 🥰

Hubby made we a niddy noddy 🥰 and I’ve been practicing using my ISPIN as I can’t manage my spinning wheel with my bad shoulder. Can’t wait to do the art yarn spinning course with Jane.
