Over the last 10 years we have had guests visit from around the world and all across Britain. Many have returned numerous times, their referrals and recommendations have led to further bookings.

Nestling on the south facing slope of the Colne Valley we have Cote de Holt Bank producing its latest crop of grapes.

Its really rewarding and reassuring when you receive a great 5* review, particularly from a couple of young guys attending a Rock concert.

"Stayed here for 2 nights while attending a concert at the stadium.
The cottage is even better in reality than it is in the pictures. Its very clean, spacious and well equipped and is more than suited for short or long stays. The location is in a nice neighborhood with a brilliant park just moments away and the centre of town a 10 to 15 minute walk where there are plenty of pubs and restaurants to suit all tastes.
John was a great host, very responsive and recommended good places to eat and drink at during our stay. With all that for a very good price, I can safely say I would return to Holt Bank Cottage in the future."

We have just had notification from Airbnb that Holt Bank has retained its Super-host status again.
After the understandable dip in bookings through the Covid period things have started to improve, with quite a flurry of bookings over the last few months.
We are also extremely please to receive many direct bookings from returning guests.

Another lovely couple just checked out this morning after visiting relations and friends around Huddersfield.
Already spoken to us about returning in summer and also arranging for their daughter to visit Holt Bank in April/May.

Short history
This is an old map of Gledholt in Huddersfield 1850, being around 20 years before Holt Bank was built, notice the small wooded area at the corner of the field, {see arrow}.
The building was constructed as a detached 2 storey coach house, serving the main property on the corner plot.
