Our Story

Bonus Electrical was founded in 1962 by Eric Boanas. The shop was established in Mytongate in Hull. Serving the electricians of the Hull & surrounding area.

Bonus Electrical have always focussed their attention on Providing the Best Customer Service. Even if that means travelling to a contractor or customer with goods that are needed as an when.

When Eric passed away, the company was split 50/50 between his 2 Sons Trevor & Graham. Graham joined the company working at the then Bridlington Branch. But then moved to Hull as part of purchasing.

Bonus Purchased Blackfriargate to accomodate more warehouse space. Bonus also purchased CEC & then launched Bonus Plug-in Systems. Providing electrical's for the leisure market.
