Reminder for sign ups for today and tomorrow between now and 1pm Renewals today for existing members and any Sawtry residents. All other sign ups tomorrow from 11am until 1pm thanks

MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION
Please see below information regarding memberships for season 2024-2025
We will be signing up existing members on 1st June and any Sawtry residents. Proof of address will need to be shown for Sawtry residents looking to join. Any spaces left will be offered out on 2nd June to new members.
We will have 2 types of membership - Adult 24hr and Adult dawn TIL dusk.
We will be holding a sign up day on Saturday 1st June down the lake between the hours of 11am and 1pm for existing members and any Sawtry residents wishing to join and then sign ups for new memberships on Sunday 2nd June down the lake between the hours of 11am and 1pm once signed up and fees paid a gate key will be issued and relevant gate codes.
All memberships will start from 16th June 2024
We have taken the decision to freeze membership prices and are as below -
Adult 24hr membership is £270
Dawn TIL dusk membership is £185
Keys for the main gate are available to members at a cost of £100 each. Keys must be returned if either you or the fishery terminate your membership and you will be reimbursed £80 of the total fee for the gate key.
We hope to see you all over the weekend of 1/2 June for sign ups. * ANY EXISTING MEMBERS WHO WISH TO SIGN UP EARLIER THAN 1st JUNE WILL BE ACCEPTED*

The lake is now open again from today

Notice for members. The fish are spawning so the lake will be closed from 9am tomorrow morning until next Monday. They are currently spawning over the far side of the lake and we have been monitoring them over the weekend and they haven’t moved from that position yet hence why we are closing tomorrow just in case they move

Hi members. We have a meeting with the parish council tonight about the future of the lake. As you all may know there have been various posts on fb relating to a take over of the lake to turn it into a day ticket and boating venue. Hi. Just to let you all know that due to the weather tomorrow the work planned for the island is being postponed. Hopefully we can get it done the following weekend

Update to members. You may have seen some posts regarding a scheme running for day tickets etc… just to clarify this will not be happening and we will still be members only. We have been busy working on making more improvements to the lake and hope to introduce more new carp in the coming months.

There’s been a lot of talk about the OMC twig rig. To advise all members - We will not be allowing these to be used on Greenfields and anyone found to be using them will face an instant termination of their membership.

The track has just been gravelled please drive slow and take care going from the top gate to the lake. Thanks.

Unfortunately we will be postponing all sign ups this weekend due to a cycle race on the local roads which are going to be closed all weekend. Sign ups moved to the following weekend. Sorry for the short notice.

Urgent post for all members. It is now a requirement for all members to bring a pair of waders at all times when fishing due to the size of some of the fish in the lake so as not to be lifted out of the water. This is with immediate effect. Thanks

The portaloo will be arriving on 1st July for members to use.

Hi all members, we have another 10 carp going into the lake this Saturday, that brings the total for this year to 21. Happy fishing

Some new additions to the lake. We managed to put 11 stunning scaled carp into the lake yesterday ranging between 18-26lb.

Hi all members, we have a number of new fish going into the lake today, we are hoping for about 10 carp with weights around 20lb. Good luck for this season.
