We stand together in solidarity with the people of Southport who were impacted by the recent tragedy and our thoughts are with the families and loved ones of those whoβve died and are receiving treatment for their injuries.
There are some whoβve used the tragic events of Monday 29 July, as an excuse to take to the streets to spread hate and incite violence. As an organisation, we condemn all forms of bigotry, racism, and xenophobia. We foster an inclusive, welcoming and supportive culture for the people we support and all of our colleagues, irrespective of religion or race.
We stand with those communities and individuals whoβve been impacted by these events, and those who now feel unsafe due to this rise in extremist activity.
These acts of aggression and intimidation are designed to cause division in our communities. We must not let that happen. We want to see an end to the violence immediately.
