Fireflies Fun childcare

Our Fireflies are making the most out of a lovely sunny day in September. They're enjoying picking, counting, and washing their very own tomato's to take home and share with their families!! 🥰

Our Fireflies were very happy making their own grasshoppers using their feet. They practiced their independence and following instructions to make their masterpieces. 🦗

We enjoyed watching the growth and life cycle of our tadpoles, swipe along to see the tadpoles develop into frogs! 🐸

We love wiggly worms! watch as we make our own wiggly worms to keep forever 😊

Our outing to the forest to see the wildlife and bring back some tadpoles to watch them transform and experience the magic of seeing them grow into frogs! 🐸 P.s can you spot the the special duck we encountered? It's called a mandarin duck!

Here our Fireflies exploring mixing different smelly ingredients to make a dough was a super fun activity! we love to test our senses and this one was full of different scents and textures as we mixed the liquid and the powder together. First it was gooey then it made a dough!

While we learn about different life cycles we enjoy making work products. Here we are making our caterpillars!

Our Fireflies made their own frogs to go with their frog spawn as we learn about life cycles 🐸

Here our fireflies blew bubbles into the paint and soap mixture. once the bubbles were made we printed them onto paper to make our frog spawn. We had a lot of fun blowing the bubbles and watching how many we could make.

We made little ducklings and enjoyed giving them all a different touch of our personalities. Like our fireflies, the ducklings are all different shapes and sizes! ❤️

Easter day we enjoyed Easter egg hunts in the garden finding all the eggs with chicks!

Our fireflies made their Easter baskets using a template provided and some amazing foam stickers. adding finishing touches by putting some colourful shredded paper as a nest for their eggs. Each firefly also was gifted a special Easter bunny to look after their eggs in their baskets 🐇

As part of our celebrations for Easter we decorated our own Easter crowns! we used these amazing felt stickers and adjusted our crowns to our head sizes once we had decorated them. How cool do we look?! 🐰🐤🥕

Our fireflies love a group activity where we practice our sharing and can show our peers our skills. Here we done a group activity of painting and decorating our chickens for spring as we shared a paint tray and waited patiently for our friends to finish the steps given in order to complete our beautiful chickens!

Mothers Day here at fireflies was a treat for our beautiful mothers! look through this selection as you see the lovely gifts they received from their littles with lots of love ❤️💐

Our fireflies are making their own eggs using different coloured paper that is cut into a variety of shapes while trying to follow the outline of an egg.

Look at our pop up chicks! almost as cute as our little fireflies 🥰 we enjoyed decorating our eggs ready for easter and making our chicks to go inside. our fireflies loved using their lollipop sticks to pop their chicks in and out of their shells. 🐣

Do you like our bouquet of flowers? we made them for the month of march to celebrate our mothers ❤️

Exploring the garden with their telescopes, we found a wiggly worm. Our fireflies love to discover insects with their telescopes!

One of our little fireflies is very good at making calls to Peppa Pig, She always answers! its good to bring technology to the children as it is embedded into society today.

Here we are practicing our mark making skills in order to make the first letter of our names.

Oh how imaginative children are! Watch us build different things using these stickle bricks. I am still in awe of how many different things you can make using stickle bricks. Cars, airplanes, robots, boats and so so much more!
