I pierce children’s ears from age 6+, all under 16’s must attend with a parent or legal guardian and I must see a valid form of ID for both the child & the parent. This can be;

- Passport
- Birth certificate
- Young Scot card
- Drivers licence

Hello lovelies, after taking some time off to train in my new role as ‘mum’, Today is my first day back to piercings & sparkly things 💎

Although I am ‘back to work’ this is at a much reduced capacity, I will now generally be working between Friday-Sunday with a different variety of days and hours each week. Please check fresha for all availability.

If moving to a new studio was as simple as moving your things, setting up and taking off as normal that would of course be too easy.

Over the last few months my whole environment and outlook on where I want my business to be has changed. From the position of the chair that I work from, the lighting in the room and trying to find ‘the spot’ in the studio for getting the best photos that represent my work. Unfortunately these days social media is essential to succeed.

Spending time on social media seeing what others are doing is positive until it’s not, you compare everything to the high volume studios who have a whole team in place to do the job you’re trying to do as just one. Why am I not as busy as them? Why don’t I post as often as them? Why can’t I post content like them?

The truth is, I’m not a social media expert, I’m not a photographer, and I’m just doing my best.

Until recently I can count on one hand the amount of work I’ve felt truly happy with and been excited to post about.

This client here came in for a daith change, we upgraded to this gorgeous 14ct yellow gold, cz tear drop ring.

I took 5 photos of her ear in different lighting and was ready to give up. I studied some photography blogs and after altering the lighting slightly, I finally had something I was happy with.

It’s still not perfect, it’s not as good as Instagram. But it’s an improvement in myself and I’m happy with it.

Moral of the story - Stop comparing yourself to things that are incomparable and invest your time in you ⭐️
