🌳🌲Tree Planting 🌲🌳

Our planting projects have ranged from small private landowners, to larger Forestry Commission projects.

🌳🌲 An example project would be 150,000 trees of mixed native species, containing Birch, Willow and Rowan. This job was completed in two weeks averaging 10,000 trees per day.

Complete planting of a site as well as beating up, can be undertaken.

Tubing and staking work can also be carried out on sites with the planting of hardwoods such as Birch, Oak and Ash.

The majority of our plating operations are carried out all over the Highlands and Islands, although we are available to work further afield if required.

🌳🌲 Cutting Work 🌲🌳

Our cutting work involves rhododendron cutting, tree removal, forest thinning, invasive species control or removal, wind blow removal and felling to recycle.

All services including cutting are centred around forestry management rather than commercial cutting.

Cutting projects can range in size from ¼ of a hectare up to large projects of 100 hectares or more.

No job is too large or too small and projects are managed to meet customers needs. Deadlines are often completed before schedule and to a high standard.

All staff boast the necessary training in the safe use of chainsaws and cutting techniques.

🌳🌲 Spraying 🌲🌳

All types of spraying are covered including rhododendron spraying, weevil control and bracken spraying.

Stem injection treatment of evasive species is also undertaken which is the proven preferred method wherever possible.

Stem injection is especially effective against Japanese knotweed which can spread rapidly if not taken care of and removed.

We adhere to strict rules regarding spraying and ensure that no chemicals leak in to the natural waterways of our woodlands.

Wherever chemical spraying is not an option, other methods will be employed to remove invasive species.

Most spraying takes place in the spring – summer months although can be done all year round with certain species.
